@rinish1 Those there are limes my man. Lemon's for noobs or if you just prefer lemon lol. (I just find lime superior to lemon :D ) Add some tabasco sauce...and the spicy, acidic combination with the oyster makes a mouth water at the thought.

@KingDylan234 Well, kinda, actually. They might not to anything at all, or they might kill you. Unlike lobster or crab, oysters aren't going to make you feel queasy or have a stomach ache. If an oyster makes you sick, it's going to make you hella sick, the kind of sick that you'll die in a day unless you get to a hospital, and even then your chances aren't so good. I like to think this makes them kinda like Fugu! =D

Not bad, but I'd have dipped my head back and drunk all those wonderful, briny juices as well. As for chewing, I don't chew like I would most meals. Instead, like drayok pointed out, I hit it a few times delicates with my back molars and then use my tongue to mash the rest against the roof of my mouth to savor the flavor.

Where are all of you people from that keep saying you don't chew an oyster, the midwest?! How are you going to know what it tastes like? Hit it a few times lightly with your molars and savor the briny flavor. To the person that said don't chew (yuk) and then recommended adding lime, hot sauce, salt etc...I don't think you like oysters, you like condiments.
