In Canada, right now, the Conservatives have a minority government. It is possible to run a country on more than an, either or, ideologies. Some would call it being socialistic.

About the video's title, I think it might be a mistake to weaken the filibuster at all right now, when we may lose more seats and lose control of the Senate in 2012. The time to reform the filibuster is the MOMENT you get a large majority in the Senate, like we had in 2009/2010.

Many loom workers feared this would put them out of a job. But 19th century England was not a textile based economy, so I reject your assertion.
