  • I saw Muddy opening for Clapton at the Omni in Atlanta in 1979; Then they played together unbelievable.... best show I have ever seen....

  • ok let me update myself.. its Calvin FUZZY Jones.. I had to refresh what I thought I knew.. but yeah.. he fuzzy jones arite..

  • holy cow.. rockin rollin harpin keys n geetar.. and calvin jones? all sound great

  • But, is very good too...:-)

  • This is never Muddy Waters!!!!!

  • LOVE IT! Made my day today! THanks FatGeezer!

  • I've been priviledged to have caught Muddy twice in my life.once @ a blues bar outside Buffalo,ny,un expected & once opening for Eric Clapton.

  • Absolutely fantastic! Is it possible to mention the correct artist's name please? Thanks for posting! Peace to you all.

  • I'm told by someone very knowledgeable about such matters that it's Calvin Jones of the Muddy Waters band.

  • Singing is Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson, who was in Muddy's band from the 70's till Muddy passed. He was the guitarist alongside Bob Margolin, and can be seen singing in several tracks live, mostly intro songs or taking some lines while Muddy goes off stage.

  • Could it be Otis Spann singing?

  • Hey geez, who is this?

  • This is good... but who's singing??? It sure ain't Muddy Waters.

  • Who is this?

  • sounds like it could be him on slide, but that is not him singing. it also sounds like little walter on harp.

  • If there wasn't Muddy's song called Rolling stone, there wouldn't be world known band Roling stones.

  • @hitlers1fan look at your name. not too many people are gonna listen to you

  • Who plays harp on this? Is Muddy handling both?

  • if it wasnt for the likes of the stones and zepplin you would never of heard of muddy waters

  • @TheQprfc

    Wrong.

  • @TheQprfc ive been listening to the blues greats before i got into the stones.

  • so, you had to watch Cadilac records to learn of the blues?
