99 Powerstroke with 5 inch exhaust

Hey your truck sounds great does the mbrp 5" kit come with a 4" or 5" downpipe

It's a 4 in downpipe. Thats all you can fit in between the firewall. After the downpipe it turns to 5in

i have the 5inch mbrp exhaust on my 99 pstroke its much louder tho maybe b/c i took deleted the muffler

The truck is a straight pipe while in the video I kicked it up to 1800 RPM your ears would be ringing if you were within 10 feet of the pipe

I did 5 in because no one at the time had that size in my area. I think it sounds a lot better than 4 inch.

where'd you get the 5 inch and what brand is it? I'm lookin at the MBRP but I didn't know if it came with the 4 inch downpipe or if it was five from the turbo back

It is MBRP and it should come with the down pipe which is 4 in and then from the downpipe back is 5in

I actually got it off ebay a few years ago. I dont remember how much it cost though.

Mine is set at 1800 when I use the chip, if the truck does it on it's own it's 1200
