The love has been given John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
The love has been given, don't let it pass you, love is patient, it is waiting for you, God is waiting.
@TheColaGoodfellow so you rsaying that 66 people from different place and different times all were right about what they were saying?, but how do you know any of these 66 people were telling the truth ? were the 'scientific fact' about your stupid religion or any religion
I know the Bible is true because the chances of it being anything else are rediculously slim, I've read it all and even looked into Canaanite history, & based on what I've learnt and read I have very little reason to doubt the intent of the writers.
Also, the Biblical God is the same as reality: All powerful, everywhere, the only true authority and limited by nothing other than himself. They are the same thing, denying it is like denying the existance of the moon.
And alot of religions might be true to a degree, some of them may be almost completely true, some may be completely true. (Depending)
You can tell by comparing their Gods to reality. Do they command that mankind be self responsible? Reality does (The biblical God does). Are they the only true authority? Are they omnipresent and all powerful?
In general, stop brainwashing the world, not just your nation which seems to be corrupted thanks to you creationists opinions, and get into reality. Your entire life spam is 1 second in one year compared to the earths life span. Get it into your mind that there is no god who created this entire universe just so you can give us fail lectures about him. If your really a Christian, or what ever religion you follow, you'd stop making videos for the good of 99.9% of human population. The bible, I'm
@TheoryClipsFTW "In general", stop obsessing over Venom. You sound insecure. Maybe we Christians will lay off a little when you when people quit trying to suppress our right to freedom of speech, religion, and and the First Amendment altogether. If you educated yourself, you'd know about the propaganda used against Jews during the Holocaust and stop yourself from using such hateful rhetoric.
@TheoryClipsFTW So what do you oppose to besides Venom's videos? Many of us Christians are tired of seeing an endless stream of inappropriate material forced down our kids' throats. Many in the US hear violent, hateful rhetoric coming from the far Left crowd if you don't follow their status quo. I respect the right to express one's freedom of speech therefore I will not be telling you to do us all a break and stop posting on YouTube.
This comment goes to venomfang, I don't want an "opinionist" (creationist) other than him to reply to me. Your videos are literally on average like 50% up the way I see it on my iPod touch. Your losing your imaginary war vs atheism and in particular- thunderf00t. No surprise here, other than the fact that your to stubborn to get a decent education of science before you declare this mini war on us atheist. Do YouTube and all humans a break, quit posting YouTube videos.
Joel is a good example of end time prophecy. Unfortunately, many people neglect this book because they don't recognize the writings as talking about end times.
Joel is one of the least taught books in the bible, and it is because people don't understand it is talking about end times. The description of invading insects is talking about modern warfare. But most think it is describing insects invading like an army.
(Colossians 2:8) 8 Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry YOU off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary things of the world and not according to Christ;
@Ayandolos Also, I challenge you to make a video beyond doubt. One that not a single person can argue with. One that will cause all people to become non religious. Or has the science-based belief not brought the intelligence its supposed to?
@Cornllama Oh, i accept your challenge, i´m going to respond to that video he makes, this is where it´ll end, there will be no more video responses after this, this is where youtube will end religion once and for all, unless venomfangx manages to prove otherwise.
@deltaalphacharlie I´m just trying to make him see that if he´s gonna continue to dvote his life to this that he better be sure of what he´s talking about, i don´t want him to realize later that what he spend so much time with was all in vain.
@GigaBTK1 It seems your view of the Jews is different from God's. (He never breaks His word.) You said "GOD has shown me to be true". What has He shown you about Obama? Your channel shows one of your favorite videos is one by The Young Turks. They have several videos that make fun of Christians.
Be extremely careful in claiming God showed you something about the Jews - or about anything for that matter. It better coincide with the Bible. If it doesn't, you've been deceived.
@TheColaGoodfellow but if we assume that all we need is biblical context for the veracity of a historical Jesus then all we would need is to point to the JK Rowling books for the veracity of a historical Harry Potter. W/o outside evidence we can't say such a person ever actually existed.
As for the billion year old universe there is philosophical proof as well. And science is just an all-encompassing word to categorize all the sciences, we have extra-specific-scientific evidence for that.
If the Bible was wrote by one person, I would agree with you in your comparison and your requirement for "extra-biblical" evidence. But that is not the case. The Bible isn't one book, it's 66 books and letters by different people from different periods of time.
The Harry Potter stories aren't a fair comparison because we already know they aren't true, the writer said so. I don't disbelieve HP because of the magic, that's like disbelieving science because of the magic.
@TheColaGoodfellow (can't get on comps easily. sorry for late reply) What if the writer said they were true? Would we then have to disprove them? We don't know the people who wrote the Bible so we can't assume they said they were factual.
And the Harry Potter stories made by fans has many that do stories later in Harry's life so the Harry Potter life-story has been written by over 3000 people (taking away the contradicting ones... and that's only from the ones I have read)
@TheColaGoodfellow Correct the bible is 66 books but I'm afraid the bible has only one true author and that author is the Holy Spirit. If you care to examine the bible you would find that all the books are consistent with one another despite the fact that they are written by different authors, 100's of years apart.
Psalm 22, writen in 1st person singular depicts the cruxifiction of Jesus. There is no way that Jesus could have deliberately fulfilled this scripture as His execution layed...
Each book and letter that mentions miracles from the same God, is practically extra biblical evidence for that God, atleast to a degree. Then you consider physical evidence of that God and its characteristics, before deciding the whole truthfulness of the stories themselves.
Reality/existance is remarkably like the christian God, no authority exists other than reality (monotheism), reality is omnipresent, reality is all powerful, reality is self sustaining. What's the difference?
@TheColaGoodfellow I actually agree that depending on what you mean by god, science may never be able to disprove god.
However, why does it rely on a god with exactly the attributes that bible described? One of the features I can think of about your god is jealousy and I do not see how the world relies on god's jealousy to become what it is today.
@TheColaGoodfellow (need to read comments in order plz =3 ) Are the books and letters you are talking about in the Bible? If so they aren't extra-biblical to any degree. What physical evidence exists?
Reality isn't an authority. It just is... or isn't (because we don't know if fact is really fact). As Pilate said, (paraphrase), how do we know your reality is the same as mine? That would not make it omnipresent. Reality has no power and can't change anything. We sustain reality, not vice-versa.
Just because a book or letter is in "The Bible" doesn't discount it as a seperate witness to the other letters and books in the Bible, which began seperate.
What are you wanting physical evidence for? The miracles? You don't need to see physical evidence for you to reasonably conclude something is true.
Reality isn't an authority? Don't you realise what you've just said?
Reality is authority over what is or isn't real, that is an undeniable fact if you don't harden your heart.
@TheColaGoodfellow To say that something is factual or historical you need multiple verified sources. The Bible is one source and isn't verified.
I am a skeptic. I DO require physical proof to conclude that something is true. Sure I believe in some wacky stuff, but only because I have seen them.
How do we know that your reality is the same as mine? We don't and can't, therefore reality isn't an authority because it is different for different people (i.e. the sexist and the equality-seekers).
The Bible isn't one source, for a skeptic you aren't very skeptical of your own knowledge. Look it up, it's common knowledge that it began as more than one, even by skeptic opinion.
Do you need physical proof that the dating measures used to support an old earth work beyond 10000 years? Do you need physical proof that the moon exists, or is what you've been told enough?
You need to understand you can figure out if someone is honest by looking at the context and their own words.
@TheColaGoodfellow The Harry Potter fan fictions aren't 1 book by 1 author. Does that mean that, if J.K. Rowling said that Harry Potter was true then it would be 100% factual because of all the books and stories made by not J.K. Rowling? No. The Bible is no different than a collection of stories put together in a single book. The Bible is 1 book with many chapters (what you call books) and sub chapters (what you call chapters). contd.
"The Bible is 1 book with many chapters " Have you even looked it up yet? The books began seperately and have been dated to have been wrote in different periods of time over the course of 1000 years! Have you even read it? Half the "stories" aren't even stories, but letters!
You can't make claims like that whilst being logical and in context. The claims you make have results that you're all too willing to ignore merely because you don't want to believe the truth is all powerful.
@TheColaGoodfellow contd. Yes, I do need proof for all of that. What proof have I seen for the existance of the moon? 1.) rocks brought back from the moon by astronauts that we have already proven went to the moon and 2.) I see it in the sky
What proof do I have that the dating measurements are correct? They are constant through many different kinds of testing and the only probable way for that to happen is if they are accurate.
1) People claim have the very cloak that Jesus was wrapped in after he was crucified, do you believe that? People claim to have the very letters sent from the apostles to the church, do you believe that?
They weren't "proven" to have been to the moon, some even say it was a conspiracy, do you need to have been there to believe their claims that they went there? Do you need to have seen it yourself to believe it?
@TheColaGoodfellow 1.) No and no. A claim without proof (and even worse a positive claim of exponential proportions w/o proof) is the same as a myth.
Do I need to have heart surgery to know that it works and have proof for it? No. Proof doesn't mean explicitly seeing the thing done w/ my own eyes, it means pretty much 100% of the evidence supports the claim. THAT's proof.
2.) The only probable way that could be true is if God is solely nature, but if that is so then he isn't the Abrahamic God.
Just because it's the Bible doesn't mean there wasn't evidence at the time, I believe things quite contextually and as much as I would agree that you can't trust everybody, I believe that you can tell what is true by the context. And according to the context, the Bible is either 98% likely to be true, or 98% true (or something like that).
@TheColaGoodfellow There's evidence at the time for all sorts of things that aren't real. It was once thought that the earth was flat because it looked and felt flat (averaging it out). All the evidence at the time pointed to that... but it was still incomplete(not wrong, incomplete)
Much of the Bible is either provably wrong(mainly the OT), uncertain(mainly the NT) or provably unprovable(all supernatural claims). I look at the context and see the Bible as being the same statistics but inverted.
How do we know that nothing doesn't exist? It is perfectly possible that, outside the universe nothing does, in fact, exist. Heck, because the universe expands faster than the speed of light there may exist nothingness IN the universe as well.
The main thing that you have to prove to prove your side correct is that reality is identical for 100% of the people in the world (and all living and nonliving things in the universe.)
I am a slave to memory and emotions and physical limitations set on me by reality, and I'm pretty confident you are too. To say reality doesn't have "power" is to ignore the limitations it has put on you, and the laws of physics.
I could go on about the definition of power, which is the ability to do be influential, and takes many different forms. But power/influence exists, beyond your ability to control it yourself, we don't sustain reality.
@TheColaGoodfellow How do you know your reality is the same as mine though? Reality can be different for different people. You keep using the word "reality" as a known absolute without evidence for it being so. Reality doesn't have power because we don't know what is real and what isn't. Again, refer to my last posts last sentence: The main thing that you have to prove to prove your side correct is that reality is identical for 100% of all things in the universe.
@TheColaGoodfellow Answer: I'm 98% sure of it. I have seen nothing that I can remember that disproves it. It is perfectly possible (and they're now thinking more probable) that the schizophrenics (sp?) are more in touch with reality than we are.
The problem isn't that *I* don't know what "real" means... the problem is NOBODY knows what "real" ACTUALLY means or is.
You rely on that 2% in everything you can ever think, you rely on that 2% for the very meaning of the word logic. That 2% is more influential on your life, thoughts and experiences than anything else could be.
The 2% you know that you don't know... it's really intriguing when you think about it.
@TheColaGoodfellow My logic works for what I believe to be real and it works thus far. I can't provably extrapolate my logic onto you as our realities are likely different. I don't rely on the 2%, I merely employ it solely for myself and my situations. It doesn't affect my thinking or my logic, because those are both relative to me and nobody else. The 2% isn't influential because it is just the probability for error and my opinion on the probability, as well as rounding down to be safe. (contd.
@TheColaGoodfellow contd. I don't know that I don't know it, I am just fairly certain that I don't know it. It is highly improbable to know anything for a fact. (and my "job" is to think about things that hurt the brains of others... because I find it fun =3 )
But it's hard to imagine the thousands of people the apostles and Jesus healed, a man walking on water, multiplying food to feed thousands, or coming back from the dead after being sealed for 3 days (and moving the stone). And that's only a few. If any "natural" event did those things at the will of one man, it was God.
The specifics are important depending on the context!
@TheColaGoodfellow There are "healers" around now. They all get the same attention from the masses (if not more) than Jesus and the apsotles did (because of improved communication) and they all turned out to be frauds (doing things that have been done for thousands of years) to convince others they healed people.
Criss Angel has sucesfully walked on water and came back from the "dead" as well as done many other illusions that don't appear physicially possible. Jesus was the best magician ever.
Criss angel is only possible because of the invention of technology. But again, this shouldn't be applied only to Jesus, Is it not equally as possible that evolution is exactly the same? One big illusion?
The point being, it isn't more likely. The Bible isn't less reliable than the scientists just because of the miraculous events. It should be treaten equally and disbelieved for other reasons as I mentioned to LetsPlayWhatMyPcCan.
@TheColaGoodfellow Some of the things he does can be done w/o technology. I'm not saying that it's solely because of the miraculous events that the Bible shouldn't be believed, but they do contribute. I think of Jesus as the worlds best magician because, if he existed, he could do things that have only recently been replicated that could have also been done at the time (through similar methods) (i.e. healing the blind, walking on water, coming back from the dead).
@TheColaGoodfellow Proverbs 12:23 (NLT) "The wise don’t make a show of their knowledge, but fools broadcast their foolishness."
I don't think what you said was wise. Intriguing, maybe. Thoughtful, definitely. But not wise. (and even if it was I don't see why that should make me give the Bible the benefit of the doubt).
I don't know what you've seen that has apparantly disproven the OT, but you should have questioned the existance of this "proof" before questioning the entire Bibles claims about God. 66 V 1.
"There's evidence at the time for all sorts of things that aren't real .It was once thought that the earth was flat..."
But that could even be applied to science,(yet you don't, do you?) so you aren't looking at the context properly.
@TheColaGoodfellow Evolution disproves the creation story of Genesis (NOT God nor special creation... just that we came from nothing because of a few words).
Science is self-correcting (if something turns out to be wrong or incomplete it changes and admits its mistake). If any Abrahamic religion was willing to do the same thing then I wouldn't have a problem with them. Pretty much the only thing I don't like about it is the retardation and hatred of modern science, known history, and tolerance.
@fetor41 about the Annunaki theory. Have a look at the youtube video of Jonathan Gray a professional Archeologist who used to believe in him but when he looked into it and wanted to get the evidence he discovered it was all a lie check out watch?v=D8jB5WmN4yg Jonathan Gray is pretty cool the only thing is he pushes dhe 7th Day Adventist church belief that Sunday worship is the mark of the beast !! that is the only fault I found.
Hello VFX, I'd appreciate if you unblocked the account redcommander27, as this is a friend's one, I never personally insulted you merely respectfully disputed your claims.This is my problem with Christian Zionism, when one looks at the Israeli-Palestinain conflict from a secular POV they see what really happened, a minority settler population was given the majority of the indigenous people's land.
I think the more videos the better :) I know that a video might reach higher views if posted with space in between but yeah, your best fans can't get enough and we'll watch as much as you can bring out :)
@GigaBTK1 So you're saying the Star of David is not the Star of David at all, it's a hexagram meaning 666? Absurd imaginations. Tell your interpretation of David's Star to the Jews, I'd like to see their reaction.
Where are these "pyramids and Masonic Order designs" you speak of at the Israeli Supreme Court?
Why are the children of God engaging in these conspiracy theories? Isn't the Bible clear enough? Why are you adding these theories to God's word? This is ridiculous.
When we see all the things going on in the world today as it relates to scripture, it's easy to see why the Bible proclaims that the fool says in his heart there is no God.
Not even Nostradame or Nostradumbass if you will knows about prophecies its just vague and he's got things wrong. How many times has he predicted the end of the world?
@motormouth1000101 I have no clue (though the thing I do find interesting is Jules Verne is (either officially or just common agreement) considered the most accurate prophet who has ever lived (as his weren't vague... though all were by accident... though that doesn't disqualify him from prophethood =P )
Could I have a couple of example of Jules Vernes propherices please.
Haroald camping is a joke and I hope he's blushing in embarassment after he got it wrong. the only thing is a volcano in Iceland went off on the day 21st of May.
when those people was marching around with signs of the appocalyse they all looked depressed.rapture you've got to be kidding To think about the end of the world must be depressing for them therefore they made fool out of them selves nincompoops.
@motormouth1000101 electric submarines (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea), Tasers (same), News on television (In the Year 2889), Sky writing (same), video conferences (same), Solar Sails (From the Earth to the Moon), Lunar Modules (same), the placement of Cape Kennedy (same), splash-down spaceship (same). There are several others. They aren't TRUE prophecies as he never said they are required to happen, but they did happen by when he predicted.
It's impossible for men to know the end of the world. Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.
@DerpaDerpDerpa Some already have. Hell, one woman even killed her two children because of this prophecy. I'm only glad that there are people like Venomfang who seem to be in their right mind. Unfortunately, it's VERY sad to see he's in the minority of sane Christians.
All the nations in the world are at war with Israel this is news can you name at least one? Just name one nation that is currently at war with Israel openly. The are almost 200 nations please name just a single one. Still waiting .... no, no, independent terrorist organizations don't count try again... nothing really damn...
Every cursing & swearing person on this commenting section cracks me up with their belligerent ignorance. Flaunting your lack of research...am I saying that b/c you don't agree with him? no i am saying that b/c you have done nothin but sware, curse, and show your lack o' intelligence rather than actually make a rebuttal (*if you could even think that hard). i normally don't get involved in commenting...but for gods sake use your brain for something other than cartoons, drugs,alcohol, and parties
@lesterismyname of course you newer studied anything in your life kid...and even if you did...it was lazy and lame ass ,,study,, you got in your u.s.a poorly educated country ....:)))and at the end of the day...i am sure that only source of your ,,studies,, and knowledge was and is INTERNET...hah....-.-
@emperusDS wow...ignorance is bliss...funny just how many councidences are out there...maybe u should read abit abouht the last 60 years of israels history and see how retardedly imposible everything that happened normaly would be
@emperusDS ok ok...so if a book writen over 2000 years ago sais things that happen today TO THE EXACT DETAIL....and mind you its not one little thing its dozens and dozens....and how can you explain one country wining against 6?!?!!?that were better equiped/trained and outnumbered...im sorry man but if you account all thata s coincidence YOU are an idiot! and the day u realise that may be to late...and illiterate??wtf?do u even know what that means?
@emperusDS whats gibberish??can't you see u are in denial of whats right before you!?!? if i come to you today and tell you that tomorrow a meteor will hit ur pc and wreck it burn ur house and than a rain will put it out....and if it really happeneas than its couincidance to you right?
@emperusDS wow...you are hopeless....what more physical evidance do you need than whats happening before ur very eyes??but...like the bible sais...even if God would show him self to people they would still not believe thats how rotten and in complete denial they are of Him and the judgement of there sins...avoiding the problem or wishing its not real doesnt make it any less real ...but whatever...to eatch his own
@AlYassou3Rabbi Not any language I know, or care to know, since you seem to have nothing HOLY about you....especially your YouTube page. Let's see... "Middle finger" graphic, "Occult Symbolism", and more. I suppose one could say I am speaking to a false prophet.
@MessiahYeshuah You cant seem to tell the difference between the Star of David and a pentagram. My name is Arabic and its not likely you have enough sense to speak Arabic nor Hebrew, lol.
@nymphrenic Thats strange because in the bible, Christ upon his return literally destroys Palestine and then turns his attention to Edom and deals with it, destroying all the wise men out of it. Mohammad and modern Islam have their roots in Edom..
Obadiah 1:8 Shall I not in that day, saith the LORD, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?
Zephaniah 2:5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.
@AlYassou3Rabbi You're the angry one because I challenged your psychotically deranged little fantasy of racist hatred. And what do you offer? Something from the Old Testament. What does "Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets" mean to you?
The Old Testament is called "Old" for a reason. Keeps your racist doomsday war-mongering fantasies where they belong: To the mentality of those Christ himself had to deal with.
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope
I guess you know better then Paul eh !
Maybe you missed this verse..
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus
How do those 2 verses justify your racist war-mongering eschatology? They aren't even eschatological passages.
I read the Bible, my original argument was filled with tons of citations. And how is it vain to speak out against racist doomsday fantasies? Because I'm not on board with dispensationalists using the American government to put it's mighty boot on the throat of Jewish enemies in the name of Jesus Christ?
@nymphrenic Its the bible that is clear concerning the fate of Palestine, Israel and Edom. Not me. You would do better to read the OT which is considered Gods Holy Word also. Only a fool would disregard it.
Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name
You tread under your feet what God has stated he magnified above his very name. You are a serious fail.
@nymphrenic Here nymph.... Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name
If you have a problem with that verse, I suggest you save your complaints until your standing before him in sack cloth and ashes begging him to know your name.
Hey venom Tyre is the island nation area of modern day England, it was England that controlled and divided up this land.... Joel says also who are you Tyre, so not just Palestinians but also the English.
Well I just don't believe in all of this, hence being an atheist. But hey, if all of this does happen (with Israel and Jesus), you can say told you so. If not, I'll say the same.
@dancinghouse the point is not for us, Christians, to tell others "told you so", we don't have the right, God is the one who will judge. the only difference between us Christians and everyone else, is that we are counted as righteous before God through Jesus` atonement, not by our own merit, or good deeds, a sacrifice that God offers to everyone, out of love, without any payment :-). a sacrifice that is still available for everyone. Isaiah 55:6, 55:1-2, Isaiah 53. - please read. God bless.
Hey VFX, you should make a video on your beliefs on the end times (like rapture, tribulations, ect.). Because there is often disagreement about what is actually supposed to happen in the Christian community, so I'd like to see a video about exactly what you believe, and the scripture that supports your beliefs.
There is no pretrib rapture.....there is no scriptural referances to it in any form.
I do not promote the doctrine of the speaker in the video I am refering all to watch, yet his scriptures on the rapture and the coming of the Lord are totally accurate---so please watch this video for all your endtime/Jesus is coming concerns and the rapture delusions....YbkfRwCr25s
God did say he'd send an endtime strong delusion for many to believe a lie---could this pretrib-rapture belief be that delusion?
@nymphrenic I agree. Jesus said His Kingdom is NOT of this world. God is not a respecter of peoples. However, these "signs" that we see happening, are prophetic, and we can use them as a gauge for His coming.
@MessiahYeshuah What signs? And prophetic of what exactly? Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets, the only sign we are to look for are false prophets and apostasy. If anything is a sign of that, it's this dispensationalist eschatology peddled by false prophets like Hagee, Scofield, and the rest of the evangelical nutcases in America.
@Astillion It's in the Bible, it's a really short book. It's awesome though, there is a scripture I love from Joel: "Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity" - Joel 2:13
Since the Nation of Israel is back on the map again (Halleluja!) we are living in the end-times. I want to stress that this is not the end of time, but only the end-times. We should be considered "lucky" if we're not going to die before the Rapture of the Church. I think we will make it, if not barely.
Exciting that innocent people are being murdered for their land, because they have a book that they wrote that says god promised it to them. Screw Zionists, or anyone who claims divine right above others. All men are created equal.
One more thing, the only thing we read in the New Testament as a sign of the return of Christ is the general apostasy of the world, there is nothing about the 1948 creation of a middle-eastern nation that decided to name itself "Israel."
What did Jesus himself say about the Jews in the Holy Bible?
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
@jimthepleb Since the Philistines were all destroyed by the hand of the Greeks one must assume that God is dealing with an area of land and not a group of people.
Those Arabs who have squatted in the Holy Land are the ones whom God will deal with in the future. Ask an Arab, they will tell you who the "Filistins" are.

Here's a scientific fact: it's more likely that you are lieing to yourself than the 66 writers of the Bible are lieing to you.

TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow so you rsaying that 66 people from different place and different times all were right about what they were saying?, but how do you know any of these 66 people were telling the truth ? were the 'scientific fact' about your stupid religion or any religion
LetsPlayWhatMyPcCan 9 months ago
@LetsPlayWhatMyPcCan
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@LetsPlayWhatMyPcCan

@TheoryClipsFTW "In general", stop obsessing over Venom. You sound insecure.

I think needing extra-biblical evidence of Jesus is like needing extra-scientific evidence of a billion year universe.
Such a mindset is silly in its own context, because it's ignoring the context.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow but if we assume that all we need is biblical context for the veracity of a historical Jesus then all we would need is to point to the JK Rowling books for the veracity of a historical Harry Potter. W/o outside evidence we can't say such a person ever actually existed.
As for the billion year old universe there is philosophical proof as well. And science is just an all-encompassing word to categorize all the sciences, we have extra-specific-scientific evidence for that.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago 8
@TheColaGoodfellow (can't get on comps easily. sorry for late reply) What if the writer said they were true? Would we then have to disprove them? We don't know the people who wrote the Bible so we can't assume they said they were factual.
And the Harry Potter stories made by fans has many that do stories later in Harry's life so the Harry Potter life-story has been written by over 3000 people (taking away the contradicting ones... and that's only from the ones I have read)
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow Correct the bible is 66 books but I'm afraid the bible has only one true author and that author is the Holy Spirit. If you care to examine the bible you would find that all the books are consistent with one another despite the fact that they are written by different authors, 100's of years apart.
Psalm 22, writen in 1st person singular depicts the cruxifiction of Jesus. There is no way that Jesus could have deliberately fulfilled this scripture as His execution layed...
NeilAnthony69 7 months ago
@NeilAnthony69
I'm not sure why you're telling me this, I am a Christian, lol.
TheColaGoodfellow 7 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow The difference is the christian God is not real, science says so.
bioparahti 9 months ago
@bioparahti
So science proved that reality is not real?
Even if evolution/the billion year idea were true, it relies on the Biblical God to work.
It relies on a God with attributes exactly as the Bible describes to work.
God before "science".
You are deluded, accept it and enlighten yourself.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow I actually agree that depending on what you mean by god, science may never be able to disprove god.
However, why does it rely on a god with exactly the attributes that bible described? One of the features I can think of about your god is jealousy and I do not see how the world relies on god's jealousy to become what it is today.
gooieslee 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow (need to read comments in order plz =3 ) Are the books and letters you are talking about in the Bible? If so they aren't extra-biblical to any degree. What physical evidence exists?
Reality isn't an authority. It just is... or isn't (because we don't know if fact is really fact). As Pilate said, (paraphrase), how do we know your reality is the same as mine? That would not make it omnipresent. Reality has no power and can't change anything. We sustain reality, not vice-versa.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow To say that something is factual or historical you need multiple verified sources. The Bible is one source and isn't verified.
I am a skeptic. I DO require physical proof to conclude that something is true. Sure I believe in some wacky stuff, but only because I have seen them.
How do we know that your reality is the same as mine? We don't and can't, therefore reality isn't an authority because it is different for different people (i.e. the sexist and the equality-seekers).
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow The Harry Potter fan fictions aren't 1 book by 1 author. Does that mean that, if J.K. Rowling said that Harry Potter was true then it would be 100% factual because of all the books and stories made by not J.K. Rowling? No. The Bible is no different than a collection of stories put together in a single book. The Bible is 1 book with many chapters (what you call books) and sub chapters (what you call chapters). contd.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow contd. Yes, I do need proof for all of that. What proof have I seen for the existance of the moon? 1.) rocks brought back from the moon by astronauts that we have already proven went to the moon and 2.) I see it in the sky
What proof do I have that the dating measurements are correct? They are constant through many different kinds of testing and the only probable way for that to happen is if they are accurate.
I know.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
2) People say God can be seen in nature too.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow 1.) No and no. A claim without proof (and even worse a positive claim of exponential proportions w/o proof) is the same as a myth.
Do I need to have heart surgery to know that it works and have proof for it? No. Proof doesn't mean explicitly seeing the thing done w/ my own eyes, it means pretty much 100% of the evidence supports the claim. THAT's proof.
2.) The only probable way that could be true is if God is solely nature, but if that is so then he isn't the Abrahamic God.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow There's evidence at the time for all sorts of things that aren't real. It was once thought that the earth was flat because it looked and felt flat (averaging it out). All the evidence at the time pointed to that... but it was still incomplete(not wrong, incomplete)
Much of the Bible is either provably wrong(mainly the OT), uncertain(mainly the NT) or provably unprovable(all supernatural claims). I look at the context and see the Bible as being the same statistics but inverted.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
You can't say that nothing has authority over reality, but that argument actually changes nothing.
Nothing doesn't exist, and if it did it would still have all the attributes of God and would still be the authority over reality.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow I don't understand the first paragraph
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow How do you know your reality is the same as mine though? Reality can be different for different people. You keep using the word "reality" as a known absolute without evidence for it being so. Reality doesn't have power because we don't know what is real and what isn't. Again, refer to my last posts last sentence: The main thing that you have to prove to prove your side correct is that reality is identical for 100% of all things in the universe.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
"we don't know what is real and what isn't."
But you know that much?
If you think we don't know what is real then I wonder if you know what the word "real" means.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow Answer: I'm 98% sure of it. I have seen nothing that I can remember that disproves it. It is perfectly possible (and they're now thinking more probable) that the schizophrenics (sp?) are more in touch with reality than we are.
The problem isn't that *I* don't know what "real" means... the problem is NOBODY knows what "real" ACTUALLY means or is.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
You rely on that 2% in everything you can ever think, you rely on that 2% for the very meaning of the word logic. That 2% is more influential on your life, thoughts and experiences than anything else could be.
The 2% you know that you don't know... it's really intriguing when you think about it.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow My logic works for what I believe to be real and it works thus far. I can't provably extrapolate my logic onto you as our realities are likely different. I don't rely on the 2%, I merely employ it solely for myself and my situations. It doesn't affect my thinking or my logic, because those are both relative to me and nobody else. The 2% isn't influential because it is just the probability for error and my opinion on the probability, as well as rounding down to be safe. (contd.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow contd. I don't know that I don't know it, I am just fairly certain that I don't know it. It is highly improbable to know anything for a fact. (and my "job" is to think about things that hurt the brains of others... because I find it fun =3 )
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
In context, it's easy to think the earth is flat.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow There are "healers" around now. They all get the same attention from the masses (if not more) than Jesus and the apsotles did (because of improved communication) and they all turned out to be frauds (doing things that have been done for thousands of years) to convince others they healed people.
Criss Angel has sucesfully walked on water and came back from the "dead" as well as done many other illusions that don't appear physicially possible. Jesus was the best magician ever.
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow Some of the things he does can be done w/o technology. I'm not saying that it's solely because of the miraculous events that the Bible shouldn't be believed, but they do contribute. I think of Jesus as the worlds best magician because, if he existed, he could do things that have only recently been replicated that could have also been done at the time (through similar methods) (i.e. healing the blind, walking on water, coming back from the dead).
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
Please, by realising the wisdom of what I just told you, give the Bible more of a benefit of the doubt.
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow Proverbs 12:23 (NLT) "The wise don’t make a show of their knowledge, but fools broadcast their foolishness."
I don't think what you said was wise. Intriguing, maybe. Thoughtful, definitely. But not wise. (and even if it was I don't see why that should make me give the Bible the benefit of the doubt).
OukaKisa 9 months ago
@OukaKisa
TheColaGoodfellow 9 months ago
@TheColaGoodfellow Evolution disproves the creation story of Genesis (NOT God nor special creation... just that we came from nothing because of a few words).
Science is self-correcting (if something turns out to be wrong or incomplete it changes and admits its mistake). If any Abrahamic religion was willing to do the same thing then I wouldn't have a problem with them. Pretty much the only thing I don't like about it is the retardation and hatred of modern science, known history, and tolerance.

How can you be an atheist?
Well, you can first use your brain to think, and then read the wikipedia page about 'Coincidence', duh.

@emperusDS wow...ignorance is bliss...funny just how many councidences are out there...maybe u should read abit abouht the last 60 years of israels history and see how retardedly imposible everything that happened normaly would be

@deenman23 What? Well, life is a coincidence, and whoever says god is responsible is a utter illiterate (:
emperusDS 9 months ago
@emperusDS ok ok...so if a book writen over 2000 years ago sais things that happen today TO THE EXACT DETAIL....and mind you its not one little thing its dozens and dozens....and how can you explain one country wining against 6?!?!!?that were better equiped/trained and outnumbered...im sorry man but if you account all thata s coincidence YOU are an idiot! and the day u realise that may be to late...and illiterate??wtf?do u even know what that means?

@deenman23 I know what an illiterate is, yes, yet you seem not to, for you only say gibberish.
emperusDS 9 months ago
@emperusDS whats gibberish??can't you see u are in denial of whats right before you!?!? if i come to you today and tell you that tomorrow a meteor will hit ur pc and wreck it burn ur house and than a rain will put it out....and if it really happeneas than its couincidance to you right?
deenman23 9 months ago
@deenman23 Depends on whether you had any physical evidence to support your claim. Also, it's very unlikely.
emperusDS 9 months ago
@emperusDS wow...you are hopeless....what more physical evidance do you need than whats happening before ur very eyes??but...like the bible sais...even if God would show him self to people they would still not believe thats how rotten and in complete denial they are of Him and the judgement of there sins...avoiding the problem or wishing its not real doesnt make it any less real ...but whatever...to eatch his own
deenman23 9 months ago
@deenman23 Uhm, actually, if God would show up in front of me, a lot would be wrong, and he'd have to answer a lot of questions to prove himself.
Also, he who only sees with the eyes is blind.

exactly what i thought when i heard the news today :)
3n41y 9 months ago
@nymphrenic Thats strange because in the bible, Christ upon his return literally destroys Palestine and then turns his attention to Edom and deals with it, destroying all the wise men out of it. Mohammad and modern Islam have their roots in Edom..
Looks like the bible trumps your assumptions.
AlYassou3Rabbi 9 months ago
@AlYassou3Rabbi
NONSENSE. The Bible says nothing of the kind. You're abusing the Bible to justify your own RACISM.
nymphrenic 9 months ago
@nymphrenic Are you quite sure?
Perhaps your callng God a racist?
You need to deal with your vanity and anger
AlYassou3Rabbi 9 months ago
@AlYassou3Rabbi You're the angry one because I challenged your psychotically deranged little fantasy of racist hatred. And what do you offer? Something from the Old Testament. What does "Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets" mean to you?
The Old Testament is called "Old" for a reason. Keeps your racist doomsday war-mongering fantasies where they belong: To the mentality of those Christ himself had to deal with.
nymphrenic 9 months ago
@nymphrenic You dont read the bible much do you?
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope
I guess you know better then Paul eh !
Maybe you missed this verse..
2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus
Deal with your ignorance and vanity. Moron.
AlYassou3Rabbi 9 months ago
@AlYassou3Rabbi
How do those 2 verses justify your racist war-mongering eschatology? They aren't even eschatological passages.
I read the Bible, my original argument was filled with tons of citations. And how is it vain to speak out against racist doomsday fantasies? Because I'm not on board with dispensationalists using the American government to put it's mighty boot on the throat of Jewish enemies in the name of Jesus Christ?
nymphrenic 9 months ago
@nymphrenic Its the bible that is clear concerning the fate of Palestine, Israel and Edom. Not me. You would do better to read the OT which is considered Gods Holy Word also. Only a fool would disregard it.
Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name
You tread under your feet what God has stated he magnified above his very name. You are a serious fail.
AlYassou3Rabbi 9 months ago
@nymphrenic Here nymph.... Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name
If you have a problem with that verse, I suggest you save your complaints until your standing before him in sack cloth and ashes begging him to know your name.

mdsstrangebrue 9 months ago
@mdsstrangebrue Tyre was and is in Lebanon. This is supported in many other places in the bible. Stop trying to correct God.
AlYassou3Rabbi 9 months ago
Well I just don't believe in all of this, hence being an atheist. But hey, if all of this does happen (with Israel and Jesus), you can say told you so. If not, I'll say the same.
dancinghouse 9 months ago
@dancinghouse the point is not for us, Christians, to tell others "told you so", we don't have the right, God is the one who will judge. the only difference between us Christians and everyone else, is that we are counted as righteous before God through Jesus` atonement, not by our own merit, or good deeds, a sacrifice that God offers to everyone, out of love, without any payment :-). a sacrifice that is still available for everyone. Isaiah 55:6, 55:1-2, Isaiah 53. - please read. God bless.

kat02dolick 9 months ago
Hey VFX, you should make a video on your beliefs on the end times (like rapture, tribulations, ect.). Because there is often disagreement about what is actually supposed to happen in the Christian community, so I'd like to see a video about exactly what you believe, and the scripture that supports your beliefs.
zsmorr92 9 months ago
There is no pretrib rapture.....there is no scriptural referances to it in any form.
I do not promote the doctrine of the speaker in the video I am refering all to watch, yet his scriptures on the rapture and the coming of the Lord are totally accurate---so please watch this video for all your endtime/Jesus is coming concerns and the rapture delusions....YbkfRwCr25s
God did say he'd send an endtime strong delusion for many to believe a lie---could this pretrib-rapture belief be that delusion?
anddihier 9 months ago
@nymphrenic I agree. Jesus said His Kingdom is NOT of this world. God is not a respecter of peoples. However, these "signs" that we see happening, are prophetic, and we can use them as a gauge for His coming.
MessiahYeshuah 9 months ago
@MessiahYeshuah What signs? And prophetic of what exactly? Jesus fulfilled the law and the prophets, the only sign we are to look for are false prophets and apostasy. If anything is a sign of that, it's this dispensationalist eschatology peddled by false prophets like Hagee, Scofield, and the rest of the evangelical nutcases in America.
nymphrenic 9 months ago
@nymphrenic Why are you so angry?
MessiahYeshuah 9 months ago
Joel? In what version of the bible can you find Joel? I've never heard of it.
Astillion 9 months ago
@Astillion It's in the Bible, it's a really short book. It's awesome though, there is a scripture I love from Joel: "Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity" - Joel 2:13

Since the Nation of Israel is back on the map again (Halleluja!) we are living in the end-times. I want to stress that this is not the end of time, but only the end-times. We should be considered "lucky" if we're not going to die before the Rapture of the Church. I think we will make it, if not barely.
PirateXzibit 9 months ago
Exciting that innocent people are being murdered for their land, because they have a book that they wrote that says god promised it to them. Screw Zionists, or anyone who claims divine right above others. All men are created equal.
LastCrusad3r 9 months ago
One more thing, the only thing we read in the New Testament as a sign of the return of Christ is the general apostasy of the world, there is nothing about the 1948 creation of a middle-eastern nation that decided to name itself "Israel."
nymphrenic 9 months ago
@JonathanSerious Get off your high horse little Christian. It is you who fears this mumbo jumbo.
Did you notice how I did that? "little" I did unto you as you have done unto others. You might want to think about that.
Oops. Almost forgot. You (individually) are ignorant. I won't say that all Christians are, some are wise. Isaac newton for instance.
Have a nice day! ;)

"Atheists have to plug their ears and close their eyes."
Or simply recognize this as a self fulfilling prophecy.
L00NGB00W 9 months ago
Cherry pick quotes that fulfill today events and ignore the ones that don't
if your going to be honest about your book it should be investigated and scrutinized just like any other book to confirm its validity.

What did Jesus himself say about the Jews in the Holy Bible?
Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

jimthepleb 9 months ago
@jimthepleb Since the Philistines were all destroyed by the hand of the Greeks one must assume that God is dealing with an area of land and not a group of people.
Those Arabs who have squatted in the Holy Land are the ones whom God will deal with in the future. Ask an Arab, they will tell you who the "Filistins" are.
