Also, i really doubt wow has the same sort of community that star trek and star wars has where their fanboys cosplay anywhere and everywhere they get a chance to, be it a theater, convention, auctions, etc. Only exception would be blizzcon. Seeing as a i know a LOT of wow players i consider them to be pretty relaxed people and cosplaying is way out of the normal for them to even consider doing in public seeing as how it's already "uncool" to be known for playing the game to begin with.
But yeah, blizzard has announced they won't let anyone fuck the movie up, true story, Uwe Boll actually contacted chris offering to make the movie, he was denied (LOL). Chris Metzen has revealed he will write it that way it doesn't move away from the lore aspect and since WoW has such a HUGE player base if the money does bomb they believe theyre player subscribers will too so they're not taking any chances and want "the" perfect movie for their franchise.
The Guild is hilarious and would make more sense if you played mmorpg's , I can't wait for the wow movie to come out and who cares what the people who come to see it look like you're there for the movie not them. Honestly I don't see the difference between someone who plays halo or another game for hours and someone who plays wow for hours it's the same thing were sitting on our asses shouting at a big screen. Mortal Kombat wasn't that bad on the budget it had. Sam Raimi is behind the movie Warcraft so of course it's going to be good. This guy has so many medievel war movies/series behind his belt that this should be something to see. People are complaining it will be another LoTR... But how? It's not the same concept, Not the same plot, and definitely not the same setting. I'm expecting the best for this film and I don't think I'll be let down. @Rossiboys215 Um.. Nope. Solo'd most of the game both times, i've died maybe 4 times throughout both character, and i've never been called a noob. It's a game. All games are played by clicking. Some people are just better at clicking than others. It's not my fault if I can stomp a dragons nest solo with only 3 hp pots without your precious strategies. Maybe I'm just better than you :)

Also, i really doubt wow has the same sort of community that star trek and star wars has where their fanboys cosplay anywhere and everywhere they get a chance to, be it a theater, convention, auctions, etc. Only exception would be blizzcon. Seeing as a i know a LOT of wow players i consider them to be pretty relaxed people and cosplaying is way out of the normal for them to even consider doing in public seeing as how it's already "uncool" to be known for playing the game to begin with.

But yeah, blizzard has announced they won't let anyone fuck the movie up, true story, Uwe Boll actually contacted chris offering to make the movie, he was denied (LOL). Chris Metzen has revealed he will write it that way it doesn't move away from the lore aspect and since WoW has such a HUGE player base if the money does bomb they believe theyre player subscribers will too so they're not taking any chances and want "the" perfect movie for their franchise.

The Guild is hilarious and would make more sense if you played mmorpg's , I can't wait for the wow movie to come out and who cares what the people who come to see it look like you're there for the movie not them. Honestly I don't see the difference between someone who plays halo or another game for hours and someone who plays wow for hours it's the same thing were sitting on our asses shouting at a big screen. Mortal Kombat wasn't that bad on the budget it had. Sam Raimi is behind the movie Warcraft so of course it's going to be good. This guy has so many medievel war movies/series behind his belt that this should be something to see. People are complaining it will be another LoTR... But how? It's not the same concept, Not the same plot, and definitely not the same setting. I'm expecting the best for this film and I don't think I'll be let down. This is a Warcraft movie not a "World of Warcraft movie"

I think it's time that they introduce us to some of the plot or atleast show us the cast. I can't wait for this movie and I really hope they get a good plot. Knowing it'll be a war movie it could go well. Blizzards Warcraft universe has grown pretty big and has alot of good stories in it. I hope this won't be a bad one.

if you check out starcraft pulse 6, they have one section about blizzard news which goes over an interview of Sam Raimi about the WOW movie. If you take the link under he video(the correct one) you can see the interview. He mentions that the movie will be MADE IN WOW too
