The blockade was ILLEGAL, so to justify the attack with the excuse that the activists "breaching a blockade" is invalid in this case. Israel let go of Gaza when Hamas took over it and won the war. Israel has no qualms over Gaza and this blockade was illegal to begin with. Just because some countries may have agreed w/ blockade doesn't make it legal.
Read Section IV Article 10 of the ICRC in which it is clearly evident that the blockade is legal. The blockade is not there as a form of punishment or collective punishment of any sort. Israel is essentially acting as the "custom agents" because they are at war with hamas and Hamas can't be trusted because they have shown that they try to smuggle in arms and weapons materials under the guise of humanitarian aid in the past and continue to do so. Therefore, it is 100% legal.
Israel lets in more aid (food, supplies, medicine) than the entire flotilla daily, merely inspecting the goods to ensure that they won't be used by Hamas for weaponry. If there is any humanitarian crisis in Gaza, it's because Hamas is letting the aid get to the people. Perfect example is this flotilla. Israel checked the goods in Ashdod and then sent it off to Gaza, but Hamas refused the aid until all activists are freed, which is stupid because it is harming their own people.

And they were prepared by cutting off rods from the ship, and distributing gasmasks in advance. To be killed was certainly an option for some, so they could be a sahid. @61talya if every piece of equipment capable of taking photos and video were taken before they opened fire per interview by someone on board then you had ample time to take footage takes a long time to secure a boat and ensure noone hiding with cameras. What I am trying to say is that one interview clearly states that they warned not to proceed or they would board using all force necessary and not sure of exact wording used but along lines of they were shooting at the vessel before they boarded

This alone should raise suspicion and why is Israel not accepting the UN proposal for an investigation instead of 'investigating' the passengers, which they already did while detaining them for over a week and then released them all! They are still refusing to apologize and still continue with their baseless allegations.

@Uncle99B I was not there did not see everything that happened, however have heard no interviews from news crews who were aboard the boats stating their equipment was taken and wiped. Plus maybe I have been watching too many crime movies but I thought that even though digital images are erased there is a way of retrieving them?

Yet the video we are shown by the media does not shot one person being shot, not one fore being shot by the IDF. I think it's pretty clear we can confirm that we did not get the full, unedited tape of what happened.

The blockade was ILLEGAL, so to justify the attack with the excuse that the activists "breaching a blockade" is invalid in this case. Israel let go of Gaza when Hamas took over it and won the war. Israel has no qualms over Gaza and this blockade was illegal to begin with. Just because some countries may have agreed w/ blockade doesn't make it legal.

Read Section IV Article 10 of the ICRC in which it is clearly evident that the blockade is legal. The blockade is not there as a form of punishment or collective punishment of any sort. Israel is essentially acting as the "custom agents" because they are at war with hamas and Hamas can't be trusted because they have shown that they try to smuggle in arms and weapons materials under the guise of humanitarian aid in the past and continue to do so. Therefore, it is 100% legal.

Israel lets in more aid (food, supplies, medicine) than the entire flotilla daily, merely inspecting the goods to ensure that they won't be used by Hamas for weaponry. If there is any humanitarian crisis in Gaza, it's because Hamas is letting the aid get to the people. Perfect example is this flotilla. Israel checked the goods in Ashdod and then sent it off to Gaza, but Hamas refused the aid until all activists are freed, which is stupid because it is harming their own people.

In case you forgot, both archaeology and the Bible explicitly prove that there was a Jewish sovereign nation in Israel 2000 yrs ago, and a continued Jewish presence in the Land since the destruction of the Second Temple until now. Don't forget that the passengers were streaming live coverage of their journey on the ships when the Israelis messed up their satellite signals, shut down their cellphone signals, but amazingly the turkish media's connection was not disturbed. Their aim was to not let any word of this attack get out, but they failed. Alhamdulillah!!!
