  • Nick Diaz is clearly a intensely knowledgeable grappler it just seems like when hes trying to do a instructional video his ADD comes out and he moves to fast without really explaining what hes done step by step, but besides that its awesome to see some really more unique set-ups

  • Nick Diaz demonstrates whatever the fuck he wants.

Truer words have never been spoken/ typed/ whatever.

  • when nick diaz trains he is actually not a bad guy form what i can see. outside the gym he is an ass though lol

  • Diaz bit startst @ 2.26

  • wow the guy in the beginning

  • I'm "Samson" Mr. Smarty pants! AcesfullKK XD good one man

  • wow.. jackie chan knows what hes talking about

  • Ed Hardy hat? Check! Bleach blonde surfer hair? Check! Oversized ear rings? Check! Two hot girls I paid to stand next to me? Check!.... Okay lets film.

  • the cartwheel overhand right sucked balls just use the cartwheel to pass haha!

  • SAKURABA!!!!!!!!!!

  • I gonna practice this on my wife i think0_o

  • the last was a joke. That Thai clinch is wrong+knee not using hip is lame.

  • 7:10 he clinches in the neck, thats really bad cuz u really cant pull the head down. It would be better to pull on th eback of the head.

  • @whosdatguy91 I was taught that you kinda stack your hands--one on the upper neck and one on the back of the head. I feel like it gives me better leverage, and if they're quick and try to duck out, they have more difficulty escaping, which means you can catch them with a knee while they try.

  • nick diaz is a fuckin genius. Seriously, he is way smarter then people realize and I think he does that on purpose to throw off his opponents.

  • Poor demonstration of the muay thai plum. His technique is bad on multiple levels. On the flip side, Nick is an awesome instructor and I really enjoyed that segment.

  • sweep were tasty but the thai knee was using a poor grip & extending to far

  • i like the sweep a lot !! but the dude showing the knees has a wrong grip at the back of the head

  • nick is a good instructor

  • what sweep is the one at 3:20?

  • @f9hunter Armbar sweep

  • people might say Nick is retarded but it sure works for him while thinking of his submissions. Oversocial people aren't very critical thinkers and aren't in tuned with their own minds therefore aren't as fast or imiginative with their inner selves. He goes by his own script kinda like me. I can't explain things good but I can show u better than anyone else can and if u do it like me you'll be the best at it.

  • @209northsidexiv we're of the same breed except for some reason texting and typing i can express myself fully most of the time its talking lots that i really dont find a point to. most people that talk alot really arent saying much anyways

  • BEAST...

  • It's always nice to see Nick doing demonstrations. People can say what they want about him, but seeing that his brain scatters in different directions when thinking about how he wants to demonstrate his skills really shows how logical he is. Only a well thought out fighter would have that much trouble letting the small details and different outcomes go while doing a simple demonstration.

  • nick diaz moves were hella cool

  • Id like to fight with those 2 hot chicks just on the floor :-D

  • 7.05

he's interlocked his fingers in that thai clinch. wouldn't happen in a fight since you'd have gloves on. Even with open handed MMA gloves, this wouldn't really work.

  • @cebris9 Yeah, a gable grip would be better.

  • @cebris9 well the clip is still good, just forget that lock :D

  • @cebris9

Interlocking your fingers is done by some people its not logic because you can break your fingers.

  • @cebris9 thai clinch isnt actually the interlocked fingers or the hands holding each other a thai clinch you squeeze your forearms together to trap the head the interlocked fingers are just what you would naturally do without gloves on

  • @cebris9 do you train?

  • @cebris9 with mma gloves you could but i was taught to put hand up higher and lay your fingers over your other hand and obviously lock in the elbows

  • @thunderchundering i was taught that doing that is incredibly stupid since you create a weak spot at his strongest spot ( a straight line) instead just do a normal muay thai clinch and you can drag him around aswell

  • Comment removed

  • @cebris9 It will work for Anderson Silva. Like he did to rich franklin and disoriented him.

  • 3.17.

When you sweep him, you can pull your left leg over his face and go straight for an armbar

  • What's the name of the cream?

  • You guys are awesome :)

  • the thai clinch technique was wrong he was staying too far back keep ur hips in then move out and strike fast and never have ur fingers interlocked thats how they get broken

  • after u inside knee pass, swing ur foot under your butt, guys with long legs can pull reach and pull it back after u pass

  • I want to train with these guys

  • Nick Diaz is a badass!!!!!!!

  • Great video, I was surprised by the way Sampson Lee does the Thai Clinch with the fingers interlaced and on the neck since I was taught not to do either.

  • Dope

  • good video, very nice and easy to follow instruction. Thank you!
