I was so sad when the ring blew up and Cortana said that no one else was alive. All my marine and civilian friends I fought so hard to protect... all dead. The ending inspires such a deep sinking feeling but at the same time an uplifting relieved feeling, it's bizarre but amazing all the same. Best ending to a game, ever.
