the cord did not "BREAK" the end of the cord called the termination where the rubber wraps around a plastic spool was obviously not built right. And it allowed the continuous rubber loops to "peel" lose from the spool giving the illusion that it broke. Those kinds of cords just DO NOT BREAK!!!! it doesn't happen!!! . all other similar accidents were result of the same malfunction...it is always traced back to human error.!! Bungee jumping is a very safe sport when done with experts!!

What's freaky is not only did she get slapped by the water so hard from that high, but she had to swim to the bungee caple still attached to her and unhook it when it got snagged in the rocks ON the rapids, AND there are gators
