They gave us the good stuff until they got us all youtube dependent. Now they are giving us all grey uniforms and making us march in step. There will be no more individuality. We are all numbers. What about how it lists every video separately on the home page? So that if you're subscribed to a channel that puts out a lot of content (such as a news source), the entire page will be spammed with all of their videos instead of how youtube was before where it had their name and then a few new videos below, and if YOU chose to you could see the rest.
Also, merging friends and subscriptions is one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen.

I still havent figuerd out how the new youtube works. I can´t view my favoruites, I can´t delete favourites i regret, a small number of my subscriptions that make a dosens of videos a day take up all of my start page, i can´t see things people put on my channel, and I hate all the rest of it. There are other video sharing sites other than youtube, where anyone can uppload anything, and it is not runnes by knuckle heads, and ads. Everyone should just move to another site.

The "little cross" doesn't close or remove the video- it merely opens a playlist gump...You have to click on the video to remove it from your list/homepage.

As a live performer, a year ago I was raving about Youtube to the live music community, saying it was the place where you could reach out to people and build a following. I invested considerable time in making YT content and building a community. It has become harder and harder to be seen or heard. :(

The only thing I can't figure out with in this new layout so far, is when you go to someone's channel, you see the subscription numbers on the upper right, but I can't figure out how to see who the subscribers are for that channel. Unless that is now supposed to be kept private.
I like how everyone in these videos about the new layout start saying they are going to give you a solution for the abscense of the "x" and then proceed to explain how to pin their channel.
Using Youtube on my PS3 is just a jumbled mess that I can't even begin to get into detail how pissed off it makes me. With the old Youtube, things were at least partially manageable.

OK, at the top right where your account name is, click it and a box'll drop down.Go to "video manager".
Then, on the left side of video manager (if you're still on the old one,I'm not sure about the new one) go to "favorites".
Your favorites all have a checkbox,check all the ones you don't want,and press remove at the top ;-)

The new youtube should be by CATEGORY. Like have all your channels on 1 page e.g. have a sections like: "DAILY VLOGS" (CTFxC, KATE etc)
"SKETCHES" (SMPFilms, smosh etc)
"SHOWS" (PhillyD, RWJ etc)
"GAMING" (TobyGames etc)
Have all these but side-by-side in BIG collums!!!

New layout is something you need to gett used to (which happens every year somewhat). I;m not a fan of it but it is not the end of the world. I only miss the friends and subscribtion boxes.

As a live performer, a year ago I was raving about Youtube to the live music community, saying it was the place where you could reach out to people and build a following. I invested considerable time in making YT content and building a community. It has become harder and harder to be seen or heard. :(

@HeartMind999 Yeah comments and friends are much harder to find here now and I also like how the word "friends" here has been changed to "contacts". I find that to be a very robotic word for people implying the only reason they matter to you is because they are business related and actual friendship is pushed to the side for devotion to government who you are supposed to back stab in the name of. I feel like they should at least have options for change like with the channels. That way everyone will be satisfied, people who want it can keep it, people who want older versions can change it. It seems a bit unfair to how Youtube doesn't seem to listen though.

The only thing I can't figure out with in this new layout so far, is when you go to someone's channel, you see the subscription numbers on the upper right, but I can't figure out how to see who the subscribers are for that channel. Unless that is now supposed to be kept private.

Using Youtube on my PS3 is just a jumbled mess that I can't even begin to get into detail how pissed off it makes me. With the old Youtube, things were at least partially manageable.
