Well, I have a Border Collie now...but had a Roughie when I was a youngster...He was beautiful...it's rare to see them nowadays..but a joy when you do...gorgeous dog, and a great video :)

I loved looking at your video. My own Rough Collie died 20 years ago, I still miss him. He was a good friend. I can still see him clearly in my mind, I can feel his fur against my skin as I brushed his coat. He was, always a true friend when I was feeling down. He looked almost exactly like yours. As a puppy he was such a ball of fun getting up to all sorts of capers. Two white paws and bright eyes sticking out of a ball of fur. He is buried in my garden where he loved to play.
I got a rough collie 2 :) She's so wonderfull! And so sweet! I love her, i know her since she was a pup. But she's getting old now, and has problems on big walks :C When i'm older, i also want a collie. This is the sweetest dogbreed in my opinion ♥

hello...I have one question, I have a collie too and he is sleeping with me in my room, and I have a training towel but the problem is that my dog doesn't do his needs in that space so how can teach him that he has to do his things there?? =/
I've had three collies and lost two of them to heart worms 1 year apart from each other the first died a day after we got her the second lived 8 years and looked like lassie and thats what we named her now we have one named nubby

My rough collie died yesterday. He looks so much like yours only less fluffy and with a white stripe going down his snout. I was lucky enough to have him for the past 14 years of my life, growing up with him ever since I was five. He was always my big strong protector... I miss him so much and wish I could have told him one last time that I love him with all my heart.

I own two Roughs, Lady who will be six years old next month and Mac (MacTavish) who will be three next year. The day either of them pass will be one of the hardest days of my life. R.I.P. Charlie.
My collie died last summer from old age...his name..prince...we grow up together my father when i was 2 give me this collie for gift! After 12 years my collie died :(. I was very sad.He could't move his front legs..our vet told us that he was very old and that he ll die.After 1 week I saw my dog die in my eyes :(...My mum buryied him in our garden...I ll remember him FOREVER :(
@thearsenalman1000 collies are the best dogs for children, and wwhen you are looking for protection no other dog is more loyal or better. Best of all the collie fools most people ( thinking they are so easy)so when you need protection you will have the advantage and when they are on the ground looking up at this large dogs teeth, you know you will be safe. have as a puppie you will have the very best friend you could ever have.

My rough collie, Molly died in 6th November 2010. :( She was 11 years old and soo beautiful, calm and smart. She was MY dog! Now we had a tricolor one (Bella), she is smart, but she is my mother's dog. She is different than Molly. Bella is also sweet, and lovely but Molly was the ONE for me! She was my first dog... I soooo miss her!!!!
I had a rough colllie who was my very best friend and he took care of me and even though i was mean to him sometimes cause i was going through extremely hard times, he was there for me. Ceasar had a large tumor on his heart,and there was no way to save him, so we decided to put him to sleep with his dignity instead of torture him with painful treatments that wouldnt even work. Collies are true angels, and i will think of him every day till the day i die.
He is soo beautiful. I lost my dog a few months ago and it broke my heart, she meant the world to me. We're getting a rough collie puppy in January and I hope he turns out to be even half as gorgeous as yours.

@burger137 They are HAIRY! They shed beyond belief. They love 2 bark. I'm considering a twitter account 4 my collie. She runs in the house & starts barking, telling me of every little thing she just saw outside. They need 2 B trained w/ a very gentle style or they get depressed. Clicker training's great 4 collies. Just don't get one and expect it 2 understand english B cuz Lassie did. They can B destructive when left alone. They can B 2 protective at times. Schooled Collies R great fam. pets!
@dynamitadaremedy Bitches usually have less hair than male dogs. The amount of hair can also vary of the dog's age and lines. If your collie seems to be halthy, her coat shining and skin is in good condition, I wouldn't be worried. I have a collie bitch and she has less hair than Kimi. And that is ok (collie isn't supposed to be a furball!).

Rest in peace, Our farm dogs, Blue Boy, Babe, Fellow and Bonnie, two spot. Blue boy was a Blue Merle from 3rd grade to 21years old. Michigan, Louie and Marley were rescued from a animal shelter. Michigan and Marley only lived a few years both Sable and White. Louie my ex-wife took and he was a blue merle. Now I have no collies. Maybe my new wife will let me get one for our baby thats due in June.
my dog died 1 month ago:( he was a rough collie, white/black/grey. he was 12 years old. he's name was Zack. he died with cancer in the stumeck (or how it called) he died exactly when the school started after christmas:( but now we buyed a new dog, its 8 week :) but i still mis Zack much. he was the best dog in the world. and i have so much memories with him:(

My Walter passed away Dec 22 and looked like your collie. Gosh, I just can't stop missing him, he was my angel...He got cancer and I never saw it coming. He had just turned 11 and stopped eating suddenly, and the vet xrayed him and found a huge mass...I could just die...
I've had 2. Collies are amazing, the most intelligent dogs. At two months old they are already show protective instincts of their masters. They want to help with household chores. They are just amazing. They know your car in the yard and begin barking for you well before you get into the house. They require intricate care of their coat at bathtime, but they are well worth it.
my uncle had a collie for 3 years the gave it to his friend because he had to come to america now hes hasnt seen his collie in 11 years we called his friend and he told us he is now 14 years old

Collies have so much love to give and are so sensitive. My collie is 13 years old, he's so weak we carry him now. He's only got a few days left - we can never forget him, as you will never forget your dog.

@luckyanddave I am so sorry you lost your dog. When I lost mine I was very upset, I was 18 and I cried for days. We now have fifi, a collie we have had for 7 years. She lives with mom and dad, and i love her to bits.

@luckyanddave ...I know how you feel. My rough collie "Donovan" was a wonderful, beautiful friend. I miss him terribly and I will never forget him. All these Rough Collie uploads are making me cry!!!

I have a collie as well. When we got her I was an awakard teenager, bit unsure of myself, of who I was. That dog brought out something in me, the capacity to show love and compassion and care. When ever I think of home, I think of her. Wonderful video.

Rest in peace, Our farm dogs, Blue Boy, Babe, Fellow and Bonnie, two spot. Blue boy was a Blue Merle from 3rd grade to 21years old. Michigan, Louie and Marley were rescued from a animal shelter. Michigan and Marley only lived a few years both Sable and White. Louie my ex-wife took and he was a blue merle. Now I have no collies. Maybe my new wife will let me get one for our baby thats due in June.

my dog died 1 month ago:( he was a rough collie, white/black/grey. he was 12 years old. he's name was Zack. he died with cancer in the stumeck (or how it called) he died exactly when the school started after christmas:( but now we buyed a new dog, its 8 week :) but i still mis Zack much. he was the best dog in the world. and i have so much memories with him:(

I have one rough collie. She is my best friend. She was a runt in the pack when she was a puppy and that's when I picked her out. She was the very first puppy that came to me. =) I couldn't imagine having another dog other than a collie! I'm 14 now and she's going to turn 10 years of age this May.

My Walter passed away Dec 22 and looked like your collie. Gosh, I just can't stop missing him, he was my angel...He got cancer and I never saw it coming. He had just turned 11 and stopped eating suddenly, and the vet xrayed him and found a huge mass...I could just die...

I've had 2. Collies are amazing, the most intelligent dogs. At two months old they are already show protective instincts of their masters. They want to help with household chores. They are just amazing. They know your car in the yard and begin barking for you well before you get into the house. They require intricate care of their coat at bathtime, but they are well worth it.

my uncle had a collie for 3 years the gave it to his friend because he had to come to america now hes hasnt seen his collie in 11 years we called his friend and he told us he is now 14 years old
