    AWSOME!!!!!!!!!

  • Hunter Harrison dropped the speed... nothing new!

  • Great video! I was a passenger on the northbound Salukie train 390 that day. What a great catch to see the CN 6401 as it was originally a Detroit Toledo and Ironton locomotive. As i wrode through Markham yard i noticed another former DT&I engine. It was GTW 6222, a GP38-2. Anytime you see a GTW engine with the number 6 as the first digit its a former DT&I engine...

  • My favorite is at 2:31 especially for a Illinois Fighting illini and Big 10 College Football Fan.

  • Very nice! The cars on the IC E9 are painted so well that I thought you had switched to MSTS. 10***** I also like the part were the GP38-2 and GP40-2 are pushing the train from the rear. What's with the BNSF at the end?

  • Great vid!

  • How did they come up with the name Saluki? It sounds like a Japanese motorcycle! And the E9s bring back the chocolate and orange!!

  • Comment removed

  • I've always wondered myself how they came up with that name. I believe they're naming them after names surrounding the U of I, an example being the Amtrak Illini train.

  • Have come to find out a saluki is a breed of dog. It is the mascot for the Southern Illinois University.

  • Nice stuff! That's great they still have football specials. Madison (WI) used to have them from Amtrak and later WSOR, but they were discontinued 7 or 8 years ago.

  • As well as The Rock.

  • The Rock?

  • Rock Island..

  • I know. What about them? Where did they run football specials to?
