  • @use2slam2 Your ignorant

  • I have read several books in years past about her life. What a tremendous inspiration her story is. She is a true testament to the power of determination. When our desire is strong enough, with the help of God, we can overcome any adversity. Her story touches my soul. I, now have a program, "Inspiration With Sister Joy," on UStream, and her story is one that I shall definitely tell!!!

  • Wilma Rudolph is like the black, female Forrest Gump. She was a beautiful, elegant, and classy lady. She will forever be the best female track athlete the world has ever seen! God bless you Wilma Rudolph.

  • Whats da song?

  • wow can somebody truly just tell me the name of the song? i posted the question a month ago... wow

  • The first book I ever read was a juvenile biography about Wilma Rudolph. I must have been ten years old. Long time ago. I saw the television movie about her life when I was a kid as well. Her story always stuck with me. Miraculous! How does someone go from Polio to a three time Olympics gold medalist for sprinting? HOW?!!

    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD (GOD)!!!!!!!!!

  • Not gods - determination. We are creatures of free will and are not controlled or manipulated by supernatural forces or superstitions. What we achieve we earn by hard work and self discipline. Nothing else makes these things happen. Wondering why it's not happening to you? Get off your knees and up on your feet and RUN.

  • "When I was going through my transition of being famous, I tried to ask God why was I here? What was my purpose? Surely, it wasn't just to win three gold medals. There has to be more to this life than that." - Wilma Rudolph

Looks like she'd disagree with you too. God gets the glory! Praise God!

  • ttdvfcvcgtghtvtg677h

  • Wilma was an awesome, inspirational, one of a kind person. She was,is and will always be the greatest!

  • To me she will always be known as "La Gazzella Nera", the black gazelle. I was 6 years old, undergoing treatment for Polio in a hospital in Europe when I first heard about her. She has been an inspiration to me for the past 46 years. Even at my old age I am still running half and full marathons As long as I am able to use my legs I will run. Thank you Wilma. Today, people need roids or doping to keep up with you.

    We love you
