  • This afternoon I did double this workout with a 10kg medicine ball. Damn that was hardcore!!! So yes I've been doing a 400 rep Abdominal workout! You approve Vince? :)

  • explain how this circuit can build muscle when its an endurance circuit? and you said you can do this circuit before your workout? i thought common fitness knowledge was that you done ab training after your workout due to the fact you dont want to fatigue your core before you lift weights or you will do yourself injury

  • vince i need your help. you medicine ball workout has helped me out alot and now my first 4 pacs are toned, but i cant get my last 2 to be toned. there is a layer of fat there that i cant get rid of! what are some exercises i should do to get rid of that last layer of fat because after that, i have a full six pack

  • @ashuamaru3 Just run 20 to 30 minutes a day, and limit the fat in your diet.

  • I literally just saw this in Mens Health but it is a great workout. I've been using it for a couple weeks now.

  • for the one legged suitcase i would keep my feet an inch off the ground to give my lower abdominals an extra burn

    I also want to say for those now starting out don't do the side to side (3rd one I believe) too fast or you may injure your spine.

  • Vince your stamina sucks. I would like to see you do fifteen Pull ups. No excuses. I dont know how you are getting that size. But lets see you do fifteen pull ups. All the other trainers you associate yourself with can do it or they look like they can do it (Craig, Arnel,) You look like a bloated body builder. do some body weight exercises so you look like some fit person.

  • this is a great workout for those who are attempting to do this, don't rest in between the circuits, you'll get better results with no pause in between circuits.

  • 10lbs should be fine, i work out with a 10lb medicine ball I'm 5'10" 180lbs and let me tell you it burns, the key advice i can give you is form squeeze your abdominal muscles in when doing your reps, and keep your hips even, for the people who say this workout is not effective most likely aren't doing the circuits in a proper from, hope this helps.

  • Can this circuit be completed with a DB or plate? I don't have a medicine ball but have plenty of plates and DB's. Of course I can always just go buy one too, but it seems like this easily could be done with a plate too. Opinions?

  • Excellent Vince, my abs still seem alittle soft but this intense killer workout should do the trick!

  • Great way to start building abs to impress the girls. I think that getting in shape is one of the first fundamentals to empowerment and meeting the women that you want in your life. A Man needs more character and that confidence be prepared to understand what the girls really want. I personally really like Vince's workouts and the Med Ball is the BEST tool I have. It has been one of the secrets that has allowed me to meet and attract the women I want in my life.

  • Good circuit Vince. With my lower back issues, I have to skip on the twisting exercises. However, this is a good circuit to get new ideas.

  • It would be real cool to see some deltoid, or deadlift workouts...you know to get strenght in foreamrs lower back and lateral muscles that can help you develop easier other musces...i just finished your Shredding program that came in with the Insane muscle gain package dude that stuff is amazing i never had an eight pack before

    50-100 oblique crunches

    I dont get in a hurry either, and i breathe.

    150 pushups the right way. none of this beat the clock stuff.

    200 leg lifts and run 1-2 miles depending on my energy levels and weather. i also eat 5-6 small meals. an apple and bottle of water, a salad and a peanut butter bannana sandwich on whole wheat. skim milk and egg whites, and steaks to reward myself. the workout takes about and hour. my lunchbreak.

  • come to think of it i think i need to do back exercises to pull my t-v-a in a more locked position around my hips and obliques?? can you say SPAM! maybe i just care too much. thats what success is made of i hear?

    You're right - Causing hypertrophy of your obliques will make your waistline grow. Common sense really.

  • i do leg lifts. crunches...no situps since i think they stretch my particular body. also run 2 miles and 150 pushups eat fruits veggies whole wheats and oceans of water. side crunches and helicopters. im still having problems getting the bottom two to show. im under %7 body fat though so im thinking thats why..im looking into green tea to speed up my metabolism. any idears?

  • Medicine balls come in varying sizes from 5 to about 20 lbs. Use a heavier ball as you get stronger.

  • this work out is really great. it hits your abs from all angles and has proven very successful. I viewed the previous upload of this vid on "fitnessvip" and in one month.. my abs have completely transformed.
