People paid hundreds to thousands of dollars for tickets to this show. Its idiots like you who think its acceptable to hop of a plane or whatever, jump on stage and try to throw together a half ass performance of a legendary song. I feel embarrased for Bruce who's probably thinking "What are these hacks doing to my song??"
That's sad but true. This song should not have been played by U2, Bruce and The E Streeters already own it; this should have been rehearsed with Bruce and Patti and performed the night before.
Bottom line is U2 shouldnt have been playing these crap songs. U2 songs are far better than this. I would rather have seen U2 play a full set from their new album, without a doubt the best album of the year...
You could see U2 play a full set. At a U2 concert.! It's called the 360 Tour and it's in support of u2's Worst Selling album in the last decade. They should be coming around again since they still haven't profited from their absurdly expensive stage show that cost millions to set up at each stop.
What I am saying is that U2 shouldnt be wasting time playing these rubbish songs from an artist whose best known song someone else had to write for her (patti smith was punk rock which means she is not good enough to carry a melody or play more than 3 chords). The only place U2 didn't sell the new album well is in the U.S. which isnt shocking as this is a land of crap radio and Brittany Spears. I will stand on my head if the new album is not voted #1 by rolling stone and wins grammys
