The cops in this game were so easy to lose. Just head over onto the wrong side of the road and drive in front of a car coming the other way and the dumb AI cops following would crash head on into that approaching car!

@1961gibson Slowdonws are these little points in the game, after playing a little, that he reloads the inviorment and it would be slow for a few seconds. ^^ Ive played it a lot and hatet that. btw there two versions of the game. I think the 1.1 have this right. (( the 1.1 was the platinum and the special edi of the game)) But the 1.0 is the normal version from the 2 part. Dont know wich you have. But in the 1.0 there was everytime these slowdowns

They're pretty common ps1 games. You should be able to find them at a used games store or if you're lazy like me can just find them online (except you have to be sure used copies aren't scratched).

Driver 2's files are to far compressed and hardcoded to port or rip from the PS1 disk. The only way then is to recreate everything in Driver 2 which would turn a lot of mod developers off.
