The problem with dogs is that they act like children and have the attitude to food of a fat person. The former means that their owners want to treat them like children, and unfortunately a lot of people are showing their love to both their kids and their dogs with food. The latter means that the dog will always accept the food, whether they are hungry or not. When dogs beg for scraps people may assume they're hungry. They're not necessarily, they just love food, especially treats.
