Yes it's on DVD. You can get it at major electronic retail stores like Best Buy, or major online stores like Amazon.

There's also a limited edition version that comes with 2 DVDs (1 has the feature film, another contains bonus features) and 1 CD, which is the original sound track to the film. And it's in a pretty slick steelbook case.

If you're a fan of the series and like the music by Yoko Kanno, I suggest getting the limited edition. I sure didn't regret buying it.

QUESTION FOR ALL: anyone who follows the series could you please tell me whatever happened to the laughing man case? did he get found? WHAT HAPPENED!? i need to know!

The Laughing man made contact with Motoko and gave her the evidence needed to shadow and manipulate that drug rep which he nearly shot in front of camera's on his first appearance. The Major used the evidence and uncovered the corporate corruption between the pharmaceutical companies. Aramaki and Major find the Laughing Man's hideout and congradulate him on a job well done, Aramaki even offers him a position on the team but he politley refuses.

But here's the real kicker, the laughing man stumbled upon the evidence on the net. He does not know who put that evidence there, and so Aramaki speculates that this evidence could have been planted by the real Laughing man (not the kid wearing the hoodie and cap).

I KNOW!!! This is my 2nd fave!! My first is Rise...Rise is so inspirational, but this one has the unique in it, it also has a good beat and rap along with a mix of techno which explain the dynamics of the film and anime!
