  • she looks at lot like Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4

  • @armitx9 Probably the inspiration to Nikita. Open-minded people make great artists.

  • @codename617 well, I guess that makes sense...

  • @armitx9 I meant to say, that Nikita was probably the inspiration for Ada.

  • pech hähä ;)

  • the new nikita is way better

    it is totally awsome

  • @laoann5 you are a retard!

  • i enjoyed this movie and leon the professional. both very entertaining. i just find it amusing that the french portray themselves as deadly assasins and highly trained operatives when in fact, modern history shows that they were quite inefrfective and unreliabkle soldiers.haha.

  • @jackngo2 why,... cause they didn't follow bush!?! thats your modern history. Stupid fuck

  • @darthsinister no because at mers el kebir you were bombarded by your own allies the british royal navy because they had no choice. your great maginot defence line was easily bypassed by the nazis and even your ww1 weapons sucked. that sho sho light machine gun.

  • La Femme Nikita is so much better then point of no return nuff said.

  • I agree., Original French movie is awesome!

  • THE ORIGINAL IS FANTASTIC:

    rEMAKE OK

    THE ORIGINAL seRIES OK

Protip even if you don you don't speak French watch it in French with subtitles on.

  • This was fantastic

  • original french movie : masterpiece!

    remake: zero.

    Period.

  • Completely agree with you snappy. This is personally, my favorite movie of all time. Then I watched Point of No Return and, for a split second wondered who in their right mind would release a piece of crap movie like that.

  • mii name is nikita lol x

  • I knew that Point of No Return was a remake. The question is why would you remake the same movie a year later. La Femme Nikita came out in 90 & Point came out in what ,'91? That just shows how much America loves to steal shit.

  • PONR was in 1993

  • Whatever, it still sucked.

  • Comment removed

  • true

  • @willabema are you going to say the Hong Kong loves to steal too? they had a remake too, Hei Mao aka. Black Cat.

  • @t5e2, yeah sure. I haven't seen nor heard of that one. I guess that's the Chinese way of getting revenge for Tarantino stealing "City on Fire".

  • @willabema Titanic mini series with Katherine Zeta Jones and George C. Scott as the ships capt. came out a year before Kate Winslet's Titanic and their have been at least 3 other movies about the Titanic, "A night to remember" was one I saw on tv as a child. They also did King Kong 3 time, Little Women at least 4 times, Several of The Wizard of Oz.. At few different movies about asteriod or comet on a collison course with earth. At least 3 about Wyatt Earp. La femme Nikita and Nikita tv series.

  • @hydrolito Exactly! You're proving my point. Why remake anything unless to pay homage. America steals ideas from foreign films and generally remakes films because they think foreign films won't be palatable to America audiences. Case in point, "Let the Right One In" and the American remake "Let Me In".

  • @willabema

yeah...they do it all the time... the sad thing is half of america has seen Point of no return and not even heard of le femme nikita... americans are ignorant to foreign film... most of em anyway...

  • @witster18 a sad reality

  • There's a remake called "Point of no Return" with Bridget Fonda. More uninteresting than the original.

  • This woman seems ten times more capable and looks like a killer.. unlike Peta.

  • Anne as Luc Besson's brilliant choice.. I loove the original Nikita.. addicted to this movie.. I feel like Nikita quite often yeh..

  • i have seen La Femme Nikita all season 1 - 5. also bought the dvds but i have not seen the original movie. pls someone upload it...

  • one of my favorite movies EVER!

    LOVE IT!

  • this is a great movie if you can find it

  • Hey, what's the name of song begining at 0:40 ?

  • Gimme Shelter by the...Rolling Stones I believe.

  • @qkenwagen Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones.

  • Peta Wilson is great in the TV series but it does not dismiss the fact that Anne Parillaud is also great in the original movie. The movie and TV series are my favorites.

  • THIS MOVIE IS ON BLU RAY TODAY!!!

  • I love this movie. Nikita is so pretty. Perfect trailer.

  • the american version with jane fonda really sucks!!! le femme nikita its the best action movie ever!!!

  • I couldn't agree with you more dude. Sucks is hardly the world, point of no return was the biggest waste of $ stars & tallent.

  • Man this woman is so beautiful. And the movie is great. Luc Besson is a genious.

  • Peta Wilson is so better than this one!!! Go Peta

  • See Weaporn at 1:42. They use it in the show with peter also

  • i agree!

  • oh! this is Nikita, the moovie before they put out La femme nakita like they had the movie Buffy and then the seires Buffy

  • what is the cong called in this?

  • Point of No Return (Assassin) was one of few successful American remakes of European films. I first saw Assassin 10 years back, and I accidentally came across La Femme Nikita few years ago. I can say that both films are great.

  • was point of no return a remake

  • yeap it was called la femme nikita

  • I've not seen this movie,

but it music have been recommended to me, So i will watch it soon. Thanks for posting this trailer

  • Alias did rip this movie off. Fuck alias! Alias also ripped of the tv show la femme nikita with peta wilson. That tv show was AMAZING, and a million times better than alias could ever be.

  • alias totally ripped this off, down to that song used in promos!!

  • Sounds to me as if the French have their priorities all worked out.

  • I loved the part when she jumed down the trash tunnel in the restaurant kitchen, dat shit was craaaazy!!!! i know its juast a movie but i felt sorry for her in this movie.

  • No offence. But. What's. With. The. Dubbing!

  • I mean, seriously, if you can't understand French, read the f*** subs. Don't murder the whole film to appease lazy ass Americans!

  • I wasn't appeasing anyone. It was simply easier to edit that way. So take THIS for what it IS, not what it isn't.

  • Love this film - one of my favourites - real style. Got to give credit to the French.

  • long live besson! i love his movies!!! swoon! :)

  • Translated:

Definitively this is the best version. The North Americans made "the Assassin" with Bridget Fonda, although its performance was good, is not compared to the one of Anne Parillaud. Light Besson and Jean Jaqcues Annaud, is the best.

    Gracias Amigo.

  • the American Version was "Point of No Return"

  • Excelente film..un clásico y una hermosa intérprete. Saludos desde Venezuela...

  • lovin this film to death. luc besson u rule my world!

    soundtrack amazin too

  • do you kno what movie came out first, this one or the Professional?

  • First Nikita(1990) then The Professional(Léon)4 years later in 1994.

  • okkkkay

  • This one, The Professional is a rip off.

Jean Reno at his ace in this movie.

  • how is the professional a rip off. It's the same fuckin director.

  • yeah this is the real nikita, not the blonde one form the american tv series

  • totally. i saw the real french one in the film. it is totally badass. not the cheasy series.

  • The American version "Point of No Return" sucked balls! LONG LIVE BESSON!

  • La Femme Nikita is one of my favorite films of all time. Its like a classy female James Bond film with a very intense emotional rollercoaster attached. Definitely see this movie in its original form with subtitles (the dubbed version is terrible). You will realize after seeing this film how influential this movie has been on action films. It is clearly one of the best. Luc Besson at his finest in my opinion.

  • a classic film. luc besson is a movie-making genius. i havent seen all his films, but the ones i have seen are all amazing.

  • Luc besson RULES! Ive never seen La femme Nikita, it in any way related to The Professional? Will they ever make a sequal to the Professional? I think that would be cool especially if it starred Natalie Portman as Matilda, unless they've already done it.

  • Un ostie de bon film en français.

  • Inn the French film LFN, a 'clean up' man was introduced who impressed the hell out of audiences. He was played by Jean Reno. Best gunfight scene in the whole film. Jean played the male lead in 'Leon - The Professional', co-starring the young actress Natalie Portman.

  • Whats the connection between the film "leon" and "La Femme Nikita" ?

  • As far as I know, they are seperate films

  • Just one Joke ...

    In Leon , Jean Reno say's "I am a cleaner" ..

In Nikita , Reno plays one cleaner after the (works) of Anne Parillaud ..

  • They are both directed by Luc Besson. Jean Reno is in both but he has a very small part in Nikita.

  • Hmmm, not a fan of the French dialogue and English subtitles? I always watch my foreign films how their native country views them (plus the subtitles obviously). Always the best audio track.

Anyway, the original and best right here. Really have to hand it to the French with the flicks they make.

  • I prefer subtitles, actually. I just went with the dub simply for the ease of editing, especially with all of the voiceover. Thanks for the ups.

  • What is the name of the song at the beginning ?

  • It's a cover of "Que Sera Sera" by Pink Martini. Pretty rare, might be hard to find.

  • thanks for info

  • the entire song can be found on the pinkmartini com website

  • the birth father of the professional

  • Though I love the fact that she's toting a gun in a short black dress while running around on high heels, I really think that Leon was way better. Nikita rocked though, specially the restaurant scene.

  • This is my favorite movie i LOVE the beginning where the guy "Zap" is with the ax and the cops have their lasers man.

    -hero

  • I tought the movie was in french ... never saw it in eng.

  • It must have been dubbed. It's LA Femme Nikita btw...

  • yeah it was dubbed.. but the dumb thing is : the original french title is "Nikita".. i wonder why they didnt keep the title (wich doesnt sound french) and turned it into "LA FEMME Nikita" i mean.. whats the point ?

  • The Steyr AUG with supressor into the hands of anne parillaud is pure fire of seduction

  • What?

  • LoL

  • i don't tend to find her that attractive personally, but chicks with guns i have to admit, is quite sexy.
