Start acceleration on 2nd gear. What´s the point?

coz it was 50-200 kmh acceleration. As u knwo (i think) 1st gear is for starting (from 0).

954 takes indicated 130-140 km/h in first gear so I don´t understand what´s the point. Unless you want worse acceleration and RideonR69 is right.
I guess he doesn`t have the balls to hammer it in first.
