  • This is awesome! Wish you didn't abandon it!

  • lol i love how the bad guys just stand there frozen while you get there gold...

  • I'm not sure what's more amusing. The sound effects, or the fact that you made them. :p

  • Wow! This looks really good and I like your personal sound affect Aha! I'm a teacher learning about game development as I have a 10 wk course to teach to newbs. Your vids have been very useful. Thanks. PS Did u make your graphics?

  • Ah, thanks!

Yes, I made all of these graphics. Most of those are public domain and can be found on my website.

  • i can't wait :D

  • Awesome. It's like Pacman, only bloodier D:

  • haha that looks fun, nice work!

  • Looks great. I look forward to your next video. =)

  • well im gettin my xp laptop fixed

so ill be right there with you (kinda lol)

    you and gyro disappeared

so im kinda happy you did this video :P

  • that is cool. i wish i could do that kind of stuff in C++.

  • Nice work =)

Maybe you should give the game some back story, why they hunt you...

  • nice vid, i like the dagger sound effect :D

  • You should check out Python when you get the chance, it is a very very nice language.

Unfortunately, it is also rather slow (even by scripting language standards), but still nice to get to get stuff written quickly yet elegantly. For game programming I'd stick with C++ though :-)

  • I was thinking of trying out LUA for a scripting language since that's what Falco and my friend Claus use. o.0

  • For a scripting language, i do Pawn. Very similair to C, and very easy.

  • nice to see you back in action :P

  • Yeah... I guess doing SOMETHING is better than doing nothing. @_@

  • How are you doing AI/path finding? For a map this small, you probably could get away with straightforward recursion.

  • Y'know, working on this I had realized that I haven't actually ever done any AI coding, so I will have to research different methods. >.>

  • You don't really need to research anything. You're using tiles right? Try to make the enemies travel along a certain "tile path"(like from tiles 1,1 to 1,10 to 2,10). From here you can modify the "tile path" so that it leads to the player (this might need some research).

  • I have a link to a decent AI site:

    ai-depot(dot)com

  • Damn you Youtube, fix your commenting. This was not meant to go here :S

  • Cool.

I like your voice sample that you used for the sound effect of picking up the daggers. ; )

  • Haha, what else could have possibly been said when picking up lethal pointy things?!

  • Depends on how you pick them up. Some people might go *ouch*

  • lol!

  • Nice one. 'Aaahaaa' . Neat sound effect. Very good.
