I also don't have the '' i want to add Email option'', and i am unable to do it online because it says something about not registered with a wireless service provider. I have absolutely no idea on how to do this and I've tried registering throgh the host routing thing, but the only thing that seems to appear is registration message sent, but i havn't had anything back. Can any one shed some light on what i can possibly do to get it up and running, i would very much appeciate it :-)
I bought the blackberry bold -0 and am returning it... You can't have email without getting a data (BIS) account... Everything has to go through the blackberry network...
The HTC dream is far easier and better phone and system...
to all the people with pin problems i just bought mine and i got it the pin was unregistered the guy told me i havnt registered it but sent it back to him to get software problems fixed so i just wanted to say that i think that you only get the create email accunt icon if you register the pin im not sure but thats what i think happens
I Love this Video and also I checked out your Channel. Very interesting! If you need any help getting this Video and your Channel exposed to were it is top in all the search I found this site called tubeviews.(net) that has took my breath away. I'm working on my 4th Channel now, this one I just made. My Videos are getting so many hits now. Check it out and keep in touch.
That means the device is registered to another email account - could this be a refurbished phone? You'll need to contact O2's support team to get it reset - there's no other way round it.
i have the same problem it said the phone was already registered...what do i do ? take it to client attention service and tell them to reset the pin or what?
The instructions are ok but my new phone doesn't have an email setup icon. My partner also bought one from another supplier and his doesn't have one either.
Maybe O2 should revise this video to tell you what to do if that happens when you get a new blackberry.
Thanx, I saw that but it didn't work on the website. It seems O2 hadn't enabled the required data bolt-on for it to work. I'm currently waiting for a new sim card (3G) to be delivered and the data tariff to kick in.
Something to double check - you need a BlackBerry Internet bolt-on, either BIS PAYU or BIS Unlimited. The O2 web bolt-on's won't give you the APN you need to get connected to the BlackBerry service.

Yes, in fact you need to have a Blackberry tariff -otherwise you just get the browsing but not the push email.

AFWIW - at the end of the video there are instructions that shows how you can set up email entirely from a PC rather than the setup icon.
