@iranNproud Nice to see you getting out and about :0) - okay so here is MY take on whether or not Moses (PBUH) and Ibrahim (PBUH) are Muslim (notice I said this and not Islam). In order to answer correctly - 1 must identify the meaning of Muslim *Muslim: one who surrenders to God's will* .......... so by THIS definition yes they were Muslim, however, since Islam follows the Abrahamic religion (and Islam was not a word in his time) it would be not be fair to say they were Islamic.

and they strongly confirmed that Moses and Ebrahim were followers of islam and quran's teachings.. (which then later on became available)
they ALL said the same thng.. not a word less or more..

@iranNproud again, since the word "Islam" was not in vocabulary in the times of Moses and Abraham (PBUTB) - it would be unfair to say that they followed "Islam", however, since Islam follows the Abrahamic religion - it is directly related to that which both prophets believed. So basically it comes down to this .... you can not have one without the other. I believe they were Muslim (by definition) and yes they both 'submitted to God will' (verily)

@Warrantofficer13 at the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah swt be upon him), there was no Sunni nor Shia, although there were two people who said that they are the last prophets and tried to make the religion of islam but the Prophet (pbuh) destroyed them with the will of Allah (swt). So the Prophet (pbuh) said nothing about sunn/shia but warned us of getting dividec.
Those who follow the full sunnah are called sunnis, and those who don't are called shia nowadays.
