  • Liking this only because it was uploaded on my 28th birthday... and for the nostalgia factor!

  • damn I played this stage on a NES Emulator and I used to save before falling down the lasers but if I get killed I would go through them again

  • Lasers are so damn easy O.o Or is it just me? I mean, on the NES version i can clear the stage in a perfect run :P

Btw, this is the best stage, boss and music theme ^^

  • They never were much of a problem for me, but as long as one has the Time Stopper recieved from Flash Man, this stage should not pose much of a problem (since that is the weapon Quick Man is weak against, it will have to filled up again before facing him to make the battle much simplier). It took me a bit of practice before I was able to pass by them with proper turning techniques (which was done just before uploading this video, as I remember).

  • Vrrryyyy? Vrrryyyy? Vrryyy? Vrryyy? Vrrryyyyyyyy?? Still got nightmares because of those sounds.....

  • what megaman is????

  • This is the PlayStation 2 version of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection. With the NES games, the compliation features a Navi Mode setting that will provide a hints feature for certain areas in the stages and remix music for most tracks in Mega Man 1-6 (which are not available in the GameCube version).

  • ACCURSED KILL BEAMS!!!

  • Sorry for unintentionally flagging your comment as spam. Stupid youtube used to have undo.

  • U BLOODY CHEATER >:(

  • megaman x5 zero virus stage 1 is a remix in the level and in the song

  • ya know u can use the freeze bot to avoid the death rays but use the freeze bot wisely.

  • If by "freeze bot" you mean the Time Stopper weapon, I already know that it can be used to get through the lasers (or whatever they may be called). However, once the Time Stopper is in use, its effects will last until the weapon bar for it will be depleted. I've figured that trying to avoid them without using it would be more convinient so I don't have to worry about refilling the energy for it later (Quick Man takes damage from this weapon, so it's good to use when fighting him).

  • >Turning the opposite direction after each fall while a laser is heading your way

    NOPE

  • Heh. Didn't bother to dodge the monsters' attacks? It seemed like you just kinda went "ah, whatever" and walked through.

  • crash bomber is the way to go if your empty on flashman's weapon.

  • lol I fight this guy before Airman and after Woodman.

  • I always let him for last

  • I can beat quickman with the megaman buster

  • The death lasers in the original MM2 for NES were a lot faster than that, i can assure you. Especially in Difficult mode, your Flash power went down faster and the lasers appeared faster, god it was tough.

  • I cannot count how many controllers I have broken from this level

  • Gamers are spoiled today.

Before the N64 days, we had to learn how to play games the hard way. There were no warnings by Roll or flashy graphics in the good ol' days. I'd prefer Mega Man to Halo any day. And I'm 13!

  • @GamingCakes Amen bro xD

i remember my first game......it was the nintendo crystalis....a great game and played it alot and still do :3 along w/ the other games like sega genesis, snes, n64, and of course, nintendo....and gameboy :D

    and 14 btw

  • 1:39 i thought there were lasers there :/

  • there were :(

  • Yeah me too

  • This damn level made me throw many of fits back in the day.

Those good old unreliable NES controllers...I HIT B MUDDAFOOSBALL!!!!

    Love the classics <3

  • those laser thingies D: !!! they even made me cry when i first played this lol, then i found out flashman's stage was the easiest, and, mwahahaha

  • stop scaring me D:

  • I wish they would remake this collection again for PS3 :D

  • I never could get past the lasers without usin' Flash Man's weapon.

  • Crash bombs would've been a better substitute for the air shooter even though crash bombs are a bit slower. So meh.

  • personally, i prefer the ORIGINAL music you hear after selecting a robot master. the music here is taken from later games.

  • I didn't know stopping time would harm Quickman "¿?"

  • no.

    You need CRASH for him.

the Time stopper is only for those Tubes that kill you.

  • No the Flash Stopper hurts Quick too. It's the only boss who gets hurt. It's not needed for anything though and now, I don't need it.

  • im quickman dressed in red got a yellow boomerang attached to my head

  • What I lack in speed I made up for in POWER.

  • You can't match my turbo skills.

  • there is no lasers on 1:40! In the original they were there.

  • what the hell! you're right. i can never pass those lasers...

  • Its on easy.

  • In the original version "Air Shooter" is useless against Quickman O_o

  • it's damn hard, but i just beat it without using any powers at these lasers.

  • no time stopper o.O

  • why does he have another kind of megaman two as the normal one?

  • Back in 2004, I asked for the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the PlayStation 2, since only having Mega Man 8 for the PlayStation at the time, I wanted to explore the rest of the Mega Man series. I don't have an NES (nor wish to use a downloadable ROM), so I can't record from the "original" copy of Mega Man 2.

  • The lasers make Quick Man's level so damn hard!

  • one hit = instant death! :)

  • Lasers? Odd color for a laser. Maybe it's a pingas laser.

  • Damn, you're good. I never would've gotten past the lasers without abusing Flashman's weapon.

  • is it possible in the anniversary collection to turn off the picture of mega man under the energy tank? i don't like it. i would rather just have the energy tank.

  • Turning off Navi Mode will result in the game having a similar interface as the NES original. Is this what you perfer?

  • okay so the picture is only there for navi mode? thanks. yeah, i would rather have it like the original but also i think it just distracts me from the game. i know it's not a big picture but it seems unnecessary. i hope to someday get this game. i haven't played it yet and i still don't like that little picture.

  • Yes. On the day you do, I hope you enjoy it.

  • i went to flash man first then quick man second.

    great video thought.

(yes i did beat quick man second XP)

  • I remember playing MM2 when i was younger and using nothing but the megabuster all the way through all 8 RM's lairs and the RM's themselves.

  • This is very much the original music that was used for Quick Man's stage in Mega Man 2(aside from any possible tone changes). This was recorded from the Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 2. Did you mean to put this statement for a video that has the remix tracks?

  • This is the original music, BaronvonCase.

  • Battlenetwork sux, Megaman Z sux, Megaman ZX sux u_u

Only the normal & X sagas are great.

BTW, the enemies hurt you very ofen... keep trying ;D

  • battle network is better..

  • You have no idea of what you are saying? PRICK!

  • This is my favorite Mega Man song.

  • Oh wow. I didnt know his weakness was the Air Shooter. I thought it was the Crash Bomb. Cool.

  • You can use the Crash Bomb on him as well, since it is able to do more damage. However, since percise timing is needed to do this, it is more convenient to use the Air Shooter.

  • You can also use the Flash Stopper on Quickman.

  • That is known for many who have played the game. It was also demonstrated in the video.

  • I didn't watch the whole video. I stopped watching when the music changed to the "boss" music.

  • It best to view videos until the end. You can have a question answered or an concept realized by doing so.

  • My computer is outdated, so most videos I watch skip on a consistent basis. Besides, I beat this game a thousand times, beginning in the late 80s. This game was my favorite Nintendo game as a youngster. I still love the music.

  • I see. Perhaps it could also be a browser's cache. Have you tried to delete your temporary Internet files (assuming that you use Internet Explorer as your web browser)? Like you've stated in your neutral comment below, and you've proved well that you know to use the Time/Flash Stopper on Quick Man.

  • I can't get pass the beeams after the flame men but still thank you. Yov've helped me alot
