  • danny knows me i have 2 challegers and a east coaster dont mention the east coaster it starts poor dan swearing ! lol also biulding a griffon 380 1971 as well from his castoffs we also have a cotton cobra as well ! .

  • my dad used to race one of these in australia, early-mid 70's. there were only 2 out here at the time. he does not have a clue what happened to it, such a shame it is still not around. beautiful bike!

  • hello tim acording to cross this is the only production bike they know of now but there was a duch man called ? rudi boome ? that rode onw to great successs

    my father cant find any of his metisses as well ! funny how bikes dissapear ! sad though

  • Multi 60's Aussie Champ in MX and RR/sidecars and later car-racer, Geoff Taylor, of Dandenong MC's in Vic, MX:d in mid-60's a Cotton/Starmaker for Athol Patterson MC Springvale Vic after their Triumph Metisse, and the bike broke in half after a jump one day, probably scrapped. Good engine, very good actually, but crap bike. Typically British, ol' chap! (They only ever did half the job?) My DOT was much better, RR of MX.

  • Well that sounds like a good collection! Do you know much about the frame numbers on greeves then? Iv seen a greeves with the frame numbers..59/1753...does that make it a 1959 24SAS? I've looked in my greeves book but can't really figure it out? Your expertise would be much appreciated!

  • Hi greeves246, it`s a Cavalier experts trials, Minarelli engine, has alli` tank, and separate seat, (not the fibre glass seat/tank unit.)all orginal.) bought new from Ron Parkers, Wood street, Taunton... still in very good condition...but has not ridden for years..

  • I HAVE SEEN THER WORKS MINARELLI COTTON IT HAD A SPACER UNDER THE BARREL SO IT HAD A LONGER STROKE AND BIGGER cc ! RARE BIKES THOUGH I HAVE A GREEVES PATHFINDER 175 !
