Well, it depends. On my stereo i had to buy the ipod cable from jensen, but now days most of them come included in the box. So you connect the ipod to that jensen cable which then connects to an auxiliary box that mounts underneath the dashboard of the vehicle and that box then connects to the actual head unit.
Yes it charges the ipod and when the stereo shuts off the ipod goes off also. So just buy the cable, connect the ipod and forget about it. You don't even have to see it.
man i got the sae thing i upgraded from a jenson v8113 to a jenson touch screen but the onlt problem they way the dashboard is made like the top of screen leans on the dashboard
that blows!!! i'm pretty sure that you should be able to set it. try this; hit the tilt button then set the right angle so it wont hit the dashboard then press the tilt button again it should save the angle that you left it at, then try turning the car off then on, if it does not work just read the manual it should tell you how to it.
