how do you apply this product prior to strightening it.. are you suppose to take like a quarter size amount and apply it all over your hair before heating or just apply silk infusion section by section ??
I use ORS uplifting shampoo and replenishing pack conditioner in the shower, applied like a quarter size of the chi silk infusion before bow drying and before flat ironing and OMG.. OMG..The name of the product is spot on.. after i flat ironed my hair.. i couldn't stop touching it.. SILKY SMOOTH, SOFT and BONE straight, yet full of BODY and bounce.. you literally feel like you just left a salon!!! I think using it, is an alternative to going natural bc u wont have to perm regularly...
I love this stuff... I love the scent too. Remember, Marshalls, Ross and TJMaxx have this for a lot cheaper than department stores! The shampoo and conditioner are great but leave me a little bit too moisturized.
@Grad25 basically i feel very oily/greasy the next day... i try to keep this for cooler weather but their silk infusion is use all year round for when i want to flat iron my hair. of course too much of that can make you greasy too. Possibly I use too large of an amount of the snampoo
Do you put it on when your hair is like damp then dry it or do you put it on when you're done drying it? I'm thinking about buying it just looking at reviews. Thanks!
if you want to try out chi silk infusion, im not sure if you have an ulta near you, (at least at the store by where i live), they had a 5 for $5, and one of the items is a little chi silf infusion bottle, it is a little less than the size of a hotel shampoo bottle. you can really save money too buy buying alot of those, if you buy 10 for $10 then you will get about the size of a big bottle, but much less! Hope I helped!
@Toya123 my friend told me that if you use protein products to use this because it won't work as a leave in for moisture. I always thought that this is more like a moisture type leave in (because of the silk protein). So because its a heat protective product though, do you still need a heat protectant?

It's a heat protective product.
BUT it's infused with silk protein so to actually get your hair softer and shinier you HAVE to use heat to 'infuse' the silk into your hair.
I don't know if that makes sense but that's how the product works.

It doesn't work without heat.
You'd just be putting product in your hair.
The heat 'infuses' the 'silk' into your hair.
