Well actually the term for Farming in an MMO is to obtain something over and over, e.g XP or Gold but yeah gold sellers are usually called gold farmers too. =D
I doubt it Blizzard's situation is similar to JaGex's with RuneScape people are "buying" the gold and 2 weeks later getting hacked thus the victim quits boom one member down the victim's credit card is then stolen and used to pay for subscriptions so the gold sellers can spam and farm then Blizzard have to repay all the money that was stolen from the credit card.

I dont understand why blizzard doesnt go ingame and delete it, or do more things against spams in cities for goldfarming.
Ill admit its an original idea, but I just hate when im in a capital city and u see a goldsite spam every fucking second.
Afterall its advertising something that is illigal ingame.
Or maybe its that blizzard is somehow connected to these chinese goldfarmers and make money from it, thus allowing the advertising to go on.
