He is an averaged offensive player, but he has a great shot.

Correction. He's not a great defender now that handchecks are gone. It was his ability to use his length when handchecking that allowed him to jam offensive players up. When they did away with that, his defensive game deteriorated. Even with that said, he's still an above average player.
