omg! this is hilarious....it reminds me of seven pounds when the woman wouldn't let her dog eat any meat. lol. anyway yeah...im vegetarian, but im not going as far as to make my pets vegetarian (sorry) though i support the idea. I went to the website vegetarianimage and bought pendants that i put on my cats collar though

There's nothing wrong with giving a dog vegetarian treats, even if you don't believe that dogs should be fed a vegetarian diet. The less meat produced, the better.

no, dogs AREN`T ominivores. they can eat some plants, but this should not be the base of their diet. the same with cats. my previous cat liked green pease, but he usually had enough after few seeds.

dude it's just a snack... and bunnies maybe cute but they have very little personality. it's bad if a cat is vegetarian, dogs can be and still be plenty healthy

dogs are classified as omnivores. They can survive on a diet of either plant or animal origin if it is balanced and diverse. Having a nice vegan snack like this is a perfect complement to a diet full of animal protein.

Are you vegetarians? I am a vegetarian and I would love to have my puppy 3 motnhs old chihuahua to have a healthy vegetarian diet, but because breeder put him on Pinnacle a meat based diet, I have a hard time getting him on the vegetarian food that I bought which he turns away because of the heavy pungent garlic smell. Do you have any organic vegetarian puppy food? Please let me know so that I can buy some for him Tks

I know you want your dog to be healthy but dogs are natural carnivours (sp?) I don't think they should have the same standard.

you're right, if owners insist on feeding dogs a vegan diet, they should at least supplement with DHA.

An alternative. They need calcium to be added to there diet for bones, particularly if they have no other meat/s. :o)
