Double the fans?? you took 39000 day trippers from bristol, i would say 25% bristol rovers fans, 25% bristol city fans and 50% day trippers going for the afternoon out.
On the other hand Donny took 20,000 FANS, who travelled a hell of a way for a 1pm sunday ko. Most stopped for the weekend though. I was in Cardiff all weekend and the only bristol fans i saw were about 2 hours before ko on sunday. Cardiff was full of Donny fans ALL WEEKEND.

Ah was a great day out even though we didn't come away with the trophy. Both teams played really well and it was great to have such a great atmosphere by both sets of fans, before and after the game I was with some Donny fans and they were fantastic. Great day out and congrats to Doncaster Rovers.
johnUBERraine...yes doncaster may of won the game but they messed up a 2-0 and only won in extra time against a team in a division lower!! They even had a chance 1 on 1 in the last minute but the guy bottled it... Proud to be a Gas Head!!

Doncaster scored the 3rd goal and so won, they kept their legs in ET and so won.
Brilliant atmosphere and a great stadium, finally a piece of silverware!
