Macca doesn't "hate" any of his former band members, he's a bit dissapointed and feels betrayed that they left him without warning or giving him a reason. Laine said in an interview he left because of personal differences such as not being able to songwrite much since Paul preferred to write alone and when Laine did co-write songs with paul he didn't get much credit. Laine also said Paul was a studio type guy while Laine preferred more touring

For the record,Denny DOES NOT hate Paul.evidently he's gotten over their differences because he was at a concert recently with Paul.He speaks very highly of both Paul and Linda.

Do tell me if im wrong but surely Paul was just a little bit more famouse than Denny when he put Wings together . So how the hell could Denny have been jelouse of Paul . They fell out when Paul got busted in Japan cause that was the end of Wings and Paul didnt need Denny anymore . After that Denny sold his story to an English news papper about the McCartneys which didnt go down well with Paul and also Denny done a lot of money on drugs and stuff , so Paul bought his writting credits from him.

When Paul was busted in Japan in '80, after spending some days in jail, he had to agree to leave the country immediately, thus aborting the tour for everyone. Unlike Paul, Denny had needed that tour income, and made some remark publicly about Paul having been irresponsible. Well, you don't badmouth the boss to the press — if he didn't take it from Lennon, he's not going to take it from YOU. Thus the feud.

Your being a bit unfair to Denny Laine, the guy was succesful in his own righ with the Moody Blues and sang and co-wrote with Paul for a few years in Wings. The guy has a right to make a living now, This doesnt sound too bad.

He doesn't any more. Paul and Denny have made up. I think it had something do with Paul getting busted in Japan for pot and Denny wanting to tour, but Paul didn't (after he was in jail for 9 days he lost interest in Wings and that's why it ended).

@spartyman7 he doesn't hate Paul- he just was kinda' jealous at the time Wings broke up and Paul was being kinda wierd at the time refusing to play live out of fear after john was shot--Denny Laine was the only 1 who stayed in Wings til the band broke up- and hten he was ready to be on his own. he did co-write many of Paul's WIngs' songs like this one

@spartyman7 Denny co-wwrote the song and other Wings songs- so it wasnt just Paul or Denny's music it was both, and since its Denny's song too he can play it and be proud of the parts he did. second Paul and Denny don't HATE eachother- Hate is a strong word- they used to be in a band together after all and he stayed until the end of Wings unlike many ohters, eventually he just got tired of it and being human he got jealous of Paul- Paul dislikes Denny more than the other way actually.
