@UFWD2000 Hey, if they're cardboard, that's a good way to get across the idea that the Daleks considered themselves superior to everyone else - they can sit there without moving for umpty-gazillion hours on end without twitching. (Of course, the fact that they don't have feet or hip struts and DO have a better weight-displacement system across their "lower bodies" probably makes it easier to sit in one place for long periods of time without moving!) Am I making sense? I'm no engineering expert.

Footage was taken from Dr Who Confidential, the behind the scenes show that follows episodes after airing (at least in UK). They had a special on Daleks, which I used here. I supposed I could have covered the logo, but that wouldn't be fair.

Yeah I commented before the last 3 mins, I assumed it all had the logo. Those middle 3 mins looked to me like you may have just uploaded the clip from the confidential episode. Wasn't sure.

Thanks. Yeah I had a lot of fun making that. I definately wanted to get all the classic b/w footage, plus scenes from the 80s where they had different Daleks (red, blue, etc), and rare models like that Special Weapons Dalek. Plus the Emporer too.

I was going to do a Cyberman tribute, but never got around to it.

The idea of bringing the Daleks and Cybermen together was a masterstroke...however, did anybody notice the fatal flaw in the graphics as the Daleks were being sucked into the vortex at the conclusion? No Cybermen to be seen...where did they all go? LOL

nah. when davros was htough dead in remembrance, seconds just before the ship exploded one of the daleks said that davros had left the mother ship and a tiny light was seen shooting away moments before the ships destruction. if u dont beileive me go onto wilkipedia and type in davros. this is a response 2 u grubco media seen as ur thingy is half way down the page.

I haven't seen that story either so cannot help you here.

I only saw a few stories (ie full story spread over a week of episodes) here and there back through the 80s, and nothing before then.

Keeping in line with Russell T Davis' resurrecting of classic Dr Who foes (Daleks, Cybermen, etc), I also assumed Dalek Caan would return to Davros, because Davros' death was implied but never confirmed - and that would be awesome!

And don't forget this Dalek has that temporal shift ability which means he/it can jump to any period in time... even back to before Skaros was destroyed in the Time War!
