Now. a average working man pulls in 90 000 - 100 000 dollars, so a gibson guitar is fairly cheap, however, the build quality of a vintage v is epic. I have a standard Gibson flying V and i luv it. But, that guitar, was fake.

I mean, he doesn't write the majority of stuff he plays but I like his personality and can't think of Metallica without him being in it.

@frankenstrat25 no, he only wrote one base riff for the song structure, which was enter sandman. He still wrote plenty of riffs within songs, just not the choruses/main verses. But on breakdowns and stuff, he does write riffs, and he helps, even if James writes the riff. Kirk can help make it sound better/different. Also, he contributes to lyrics and song structure. You don't know what youre talking about. Also compare the solos on ...And Justice for All, Black album, Load/Reload, Death Magnetic
