@bowie12 David Bowie happens to be the most dull artist I listen to. No T.Rex song sounds anything like the next. And Bolan didn't do the "Oh, let's copy Iggy Pop" stage that Bowie did. All Bowie ever did was scrounge off real musicians like Iggy Pop and Marc Bolan etc.

Fantastic Voyage and Boys Keep Swinging from Lodger have exactly the same chord progression. Bolan is about excitement, something Bowie doesn't do.
