This is the episode that made me finally turn the channel on this show. For those of you outside Minnesota. This is one of the wealthiest areas in our entire state, and I totally sympathize with the family's situation, but there are kids running around this state without proper clothing for the USA's worst winters-no food or proper care.
I find it ironic more and more that the privileged are first for everything in our country, this show simply hyped that notion. I will never watch this show,
@gravelandgrain100 I also find it kinda ironic that instead of getting out and doing something to help all the unfortunate people out there, you just sit there with your little pity party and nurse your ego.
@mariatortilla1999 -what did I say that wasn't a true statement?? Did I say they didn't deserve the house, did I? I don't see why my comment was offensive-is Minnetonka one of the richest areas in all of Minnesota, well. Prove me wrong-please. Then tell America that Orono is skid row.
i need some helplike u all show on t.v show me im a single father of 2 boys 12/15 and they have been taking from me cause i cant afford the rent i was paying i got be hind for 3 months went to florida for thanksgiving to see a bout a job for working on marina fraight i come home to a anviction and my sons gone i had a 2 bed room trailer gave to me all i have to do is pay 220 and electric gas i want my boys bck
The "Extreme" part of this story is the stretch of emotion this family has experienced. From the most excruciating pain of losing their loved ones so young and so brutal, to the out pouring of total love from strangers. I pray it continues to be a happy ending for them all.
I spent virtually every single day of the makeover on that site helping with that house and it was by far the best week of my life.

@gravelandgrain100 Ok, I found that slightly offensive. Trevor Lee is one of my best friends and his family deserved the gift of EMHE.
