I am 55 yr old American, tasted vegemite for the first time in my life today. Took hours for the taste of that shit to leave my mouth. I only ate a tiny dollop. I cannot believe it is actually regarded as food. The most horrible tasting shit I've ever experienced. I've never tasted dog shit, but if you put 2 crackers in front of me, one with vegemite spread on it and the other with dog shit, I'd opt for the dog shit. Seriously.
