  • I bought a cd at a Blind Boys concert about 8 years ago and this song was on it. Someone lost it. Since then I have been looking for this song. Thanks for posting. Just imagine Brownlee, Sam Cooke, Ira Tucker, and Claude Jeter all on the same program. These are the programs my Dad would tell me about when He and my Uncles would sing with these guys in the 50s. Only Heaven would be a better place to be. My Dad and his friends are gone now, but a reunion is coming when we all get to Heaven!!

  • My dad used to play this record om Sunday evenings. What a memory.

  • The lead vocalist Brother Archie Brownlee is in my opinion THE MOST UNDER-RATED, UNDER-APPRECIATED, & MOST-OVERLOOKED gospel singer in the history of recorded music. I wish I could get my hands on the vinyl albums my parents once had and enjoyed in my younger days.

  • @CarlFitzSkin That can be said about many of the gospel greats from the 1950's. So many didn't get the reconigition they should have gotten. Whether it was Some of those amazing female groups or the many great quartets, But they did leave a wonderful legacy.

  • that awful hour what a time to have JESUS

  • puro estilo
