man, i got some trouble, when i plays a sample, it's slow and grave, but when i listen pressing CTRL it plays normally. It happens with all samples, less first one, and the rest get slower and more grave.
Hey guys, it would be great of you could check out my channel! I use FL studio too, and it would be great if you could give me your opinion! I you like my stuff, comment, rate or even subscribe! Thank you if you're even reading this! :D
@DJshuffl3 Load the sample into a new channel. Go to the channel settings of the sample by clicking its box at the left side in the step sequencer. Look for Time stretching setting, it's about in the middle. Choose a timestretch method, I would recommend 'tonal' in this case, but you can try different things and also go crazy with it ;-) Use the pitch knob to tune your bass higher. If you crank it upa all the way it should be one octave higher.
i have a trial version of fl studio and i do the same things but when i click fit to tempo it asks me to chose a range for it to detect its original tempo. after it has been detected, it says that it is stretching, but the tempo keeps on being the same. i really need it to practice the song in the piano
Mine asks me "Please select the tempo range (in BPM) this sample is most likely to be in". How do you determine what tempo it is if you are unsure of what it is and how do you increase the speed just of a specific sample?
@defiantHipHop Start playing the sample then right click the tempo display and choose tap. Then try to keep the beat. This should at least give you enough of a ball park figure to give FL a tempo window. Sorry you had to wait so long for an answer haha.

I have a question maybe you guys have an answer to. I go to vgmusic sometimes to take songs and adjust the pitch, tempo, and instruments. Occasionally when I change the tempo and play it again, the tempo resets. How can I stop the tempo from reseting when I press play?
I believe after you change the sample tempo that way, you double-click the audio to open the channel window, disable resampling, and then boost your song's tempo back up.
I'm sure there are better ways but I have yet to stumble across them ( or know of them off-hand ).
Is there a way to change the pitch without effecting the tempo (Using the sampler/audio clip effects the pitch when changing notes in the piano roll) but is there a way?
I believe after you load a song into your project, you just open the piano roll and make a note in the pitch you desire. When it comes to actually being able to change the pitch yet still be able to see the audio waves in the playlist, I think you need to go to the properties of the song and mess with the pitch knob.
HOLY CRAP THANK YOU!!!

You could also use edison for that..
