why don't you do this. you turn the wood upside down, still have the rubber bands pulling the same way and then you've got an actual trigger? its just a thought, I've been looking for a trigger system for a while, and I don't get why you guys didn't think of what I just said.

i got an air gun i built that uses a 3 in diameter tube and two caps for the air chamber and it shoots through about 3 -4 inches of wood at 180psi

If you want to have a full automatic gun, you would need to push the ammunition straight into the barrel from a tube or something. You will lose a lot of power. Unless you study engineering and have the right tools.

I think you mean the bullet inserting system of my other airgun which is just a T-piece on the barrel and a big ball valve on top of it to open and close for a ball bearing to load. It doesn't roll out of the barrel because there is a drop of glue stopping it.

Yes, definately. 100 psi in combination with a quick opening valve and good ammunition will do the trick but I don't think you can hit a rabbit because u need to get very close lol.

A gun maker makes Black powder guns, i want a pneumatic gun that looks like a real rifle, And i doubt that air gun makers would reveal their trigger system, sfter all they want to mke money off it, i found out my self any way...The trick is a hammer valve.

Well, I don't use a bike pump but a compressor.

And it charges the gun to whatever pressure I like in just a few seconds.

Hi, I made something really easy; A barrel with a simple valve, that I connect to an air compressor. I'd put an potato in the barrel, and that combination did shoot about 50 metres (150 Feet) far. But what you did made looks very good;)

no, I do not use CO2 and theres none in the bottle.

the smoke is actually vaporised water which gets supercooled or something. it is like when you open your freezer or breath out in a cold environment.

when I pump the gun up it gets warmer and when I have shot it it is very cold.
