  • i would do it , but i would stand up there for 30 mins trying to get the balls to hah

  • How high, real high! 100+ft wow we. :-)

  • Another guy died jumping off that same bridge.

  • Sick!! So high!!

  • wow i thought the bridge i jumped off of was tall

  • 0:11 lol he is a bird

  • biggest i seen on youtube by far!

  • Wow ! That's a long way down ! I jumped from a 97' cliff and that was enough for me. Hurt the bottoms of my feet when hitting the water.

  • Why dident you do a gainer? Do you not have any balls?

  • @gunneddown88 Are u serious?? can u even do that?

  • @ 2.77 seconds he would have jumped from 120 feet. Only with a HD camera could we tell the exact time. Not sure how you got your answer but I used physics to get mine.

  • @ThePerfectCure Indeed, and I did use the wrong equation, neglecting to square the time elapsed. I think 2.77 sec is entirely possible, and your 120 feet would then be correct. Definitely crazy-big!

(As an aside, you have clearly demonstrated that you are a superior being to me in math skill, toughness, hard-core bad-assness and overall intelligence. LOL!)

  • @rumealdegas I get frustrated when the height is diminished by incorrect math. As I personally would not have the balls to jump off this bridge, my buddy did and it happens to be the biggest ammeter bridge jump on youtube. People die from attempting this (maybe there are suicide attempts) and he compressed two vertebra in his back rendering him unable to make large jumps anymore... That is another reason I know its is over 100 feet...

  • @ThePerfectCure This I can understand. It is definitely a huge jump. My concern was that many videos here claim silly heights in an attempt to make them seem impressive. Many of them are extremely risky/impressive, but I am bothered by people feeling they need to apply unrealistic numbers to make them sound as risky as they are.

I think the 120 ft estimate is probably very close, and that would make for about a 60 MPH impact. Serious ouch! Your buddy went huge, and my math needed work. :)

  • I looked away at 0:09 and back at 0:11 and i legit thought he was flying

  • he just kept going...and going........and going O.o

  • Wow. Wish I could do this. Would a dive work?

  • This is about 42 meters... gosh!

  • I filmed this...

  • I thought he was made of silver !

  • wow that is fuckin insane. highest i have ever gone off of is about 90 but that looks almost double what i did

  • I did get realy scared when he came back up! :o

  • that was huge, you are the man

  • Depending on the starting time, I would say he fell anywhere between 117 and 120 feet (it may be a little less than this due to air resistance). He was in free-fall for roughly 2.6 seconds. Not factoring air resistance, he made contact with the surface of the water at around 56.8 mph. Physics is fun - but also can be incredibly dangerous!

  • that is freaking insane just saying...lol

  • Idiot.

  • That jump, in the headcam video, has been measured by me three times at 88 feet. The airtime is about the same.

  • i jumped off a 40 ft cliff and it took half as long as this so anyone who says its less that 130 ft is fucking retarded

  • Bad idea jumping off that thing. Go to the cliffs down the road, hang out with some chicks, find some beer and live to see another day. No one cares that your so brave enough to jump off that thing.

  • This is was just a fuckin bad idea. Glad you wore those shoes

  • he died

  • I'm real familiar with this bridge and this area........This is one hell of a high bridge. Personally know of two deaths and two broken backs. Gave some thought to jumping as a youngster.......chickened out. We used to jump off the concrete pilings that support this bridge.....maybe 60-70 feet tops. Seems like your falling forever even at that distance. The cliffs the one kid is refferring to below arrorock are maybe 40 feet. Props to this guy..that took some balls.

  • flying :D 0:10

  • this guys a bad-a props to him

  • he could have died you know

  • this is so so.. psychopatical ))

  • That was like a 3.2-3.4 second fall. holy shit, you sir are an idiot.

  • @benthamj6 stfu u pilgrim

  • check out my bridge jump its nothing compared to this haha

  • state prop keep off yah i cant red that shit i there lol nice

  • weak sauce

  • 26 human beings have survived a leap from the Golden Gate Bridge as of 2006. From the railing to the water is 220ft.

So how high exactly is this?

  • @Tablekorner Whats your point. the 26 people that survived the jump lived through a suicide attempt and I'm sure they got fucked up. This jump is around 120-140 Ft. Land Wrong and your dead.

  • @punx8086

My point is that high jumps are survival...

  • i thought some of the jumps i do is high, your crazy bub, but good stuff, just be careful.

  • ur a fuckin crazy basterd

  • Hell yea man but you still got about 50 to go to top me lmao 180 ft baby o yea

  • @CtodaD you just sound dumb for saying 180, the world record is like 177ft into broken water.

  • i would love to know what that kid was on when he decided to do that

  • @111TWEST111 hahah, just a couple of brews, maybe a hit or two of weed. he is just always crazy

  • the world record holder is Dana Kunze 172 Foot High Dive World Champion

  • fucking insane

  • dude is fearless

  • @radgeek01 hell yea he is, try climbing with him haha, he'll take you for a ride

  • Dude's arms did 5 circles...that shit was raw homie!!!!

  • of course this is probably the highest raw bridge jump on youtube, easily 100 feet or higher.

  • one thing that has to be considered with these equations which measure bridge height is that different cameras record at subtly variant speeds, so i wouldnt place much faith in trying to calculate height to the exact foot or meter. also something to remember is that when you film a jump from the same area the jumper leaps from as opposed to from a distant angle is that from the top perspective, the impression is that jumper gets smaller and smaller with descent, making the jump seem even higher

  • yeah thats crazy..lol

  • dats pretty high..

  • that's fucking crazy!

  • i jumped off the cliff right after the bridge ( that takes you to arrowhead damn) on the right. almost got arrested for attempted suicide lols. i think that cliff is 115 and its as high if not higher than this jump. i know for a fact i was in the air longer.

  • daft fucker

  • Oh my god..it think it´s really 130 or 144ft i think i was wrong with 110ft..He did get hurt.. He shouldn´t do that..

  • @RCMan89 LOL!!! yea i know right? thats sick. he was up and climbing not long after

  • Wow, thats more than high!! Thats perhaps 32 Meters or more than 110 feet or more!! Was he fine because professional cliff Divers don´t go higher than 28m 90ft because the impact is too dangerous and hard..

  • that is deffenetly in upwards of 100 and som change feet easy

  • this is def. high but i dont think its 144ft check out "butler bridge jump" its a bridge in tn that is fucking high as shit. there is only three people known to have jumped off the top and lived and two of them are on youtube

  • this is definately THE biggest jump i've seen on youtube, and i've seen pretty much everyone. I have to hand it to you, that is literally insane.

  • you should record that jump, because either you friends are flying, gravity doesnt apply to them or you dont know how to count to 3, because as stated below, its eazy to find out how far you fall in 3 seconds, according to newtons law of gravity "An initially-stationary object which is allowed to fall freely under gravity drops a distance which is proportional to the square of the elapsed time" so1/2 of 9.8 meters X 3 seconds squared : 44.1 meters which is 144.65 feet because 1 meter is 3.28 ft

  • wats your grade in mat?!

  • @trep420 Did you take into accout wind resistance. I know that would be a significant enough factor to include it.

  • @trep420 if you fall in water from 44 meters that way you are surely to die ... after the 30 meter the density of water becomes like cement

  • @trep420 You lost me at "according to newtons law of gravity" xD

  • @trep420 how long did it take you to write that...... im pretty sure a while.

  • @trep420

yeah... the only problem is you would have to have a high speed camera goign frame by frame to see exactly how long... because a fraction of a second when squared can through u off by allot... in the 2.5 to 3.5 second mark u could be off by over +or- 50 feet...

just saying... im minoring in physics and a also jump off the very top of truss bridges...

  • @trep420 nice physics lesson their buddy

  • You have the right idea, but your math is off. Objects are accelerated toward Earth at a rate of about 32 ft/sec/sec. This means that after one second, an object is traveling 32 ft/s. After two seconds, it is traveling 32 * 2 ft/s, or 64 ft/s, and so on... My stopwatch puts this fall at about 2.5 seconds, which would mean impact at 32 * 2.5 or ~80 ft/s, which is about 55 miles per hour. Distance traveled under the constant acceleration of gravity is final speed / 2. 80 / 2 = 40 ft high. Ouch!

  • @rumealdegas that is the worst break down i have ever seen, go back to middle school. The first second it feel 32 feet and the 2nd second he fell 64 ft, with out it going an extra half a second you already have ignored 16 feet.

  • @ThePerfectCure Half-right. I didn't square the time. From Wikipedia's Equations_for_a_falling_body: Distance travelled by an object falling for time t: d = 1/2 * g * t^2. I did d = 1/2 * g * t.

    1/2 * 32 * 1^2 = 16 ft fallen in the 1st second (not 32 ft). 1/2 * 32 * 2^2 = 64 ft fallen in the first two seconds. 1/2 * 32 * 3^2 = 144 ft fallen in the first 3 seconds. Thus, the math for your 144 ft estimate was right. I don't buy 3 seconds, though. 2.5 sec gives 100 ft high.

  • @trep420 Damn, good math

  • I live by lucky peak and absolutely no one will do it. i have wanted to forever, but I always drive by and am like, "fuck that is high." but yeah, congrats on living, many people have died there.

  • i hope you were kidding. you must have been because nobody is that retarded and can still use a computer...

  • @lilguitarhero101 a little more than 30 feet?? are you being serious?

  • dude that is is bad ass how high was that

  • Sick............

  • did that hurt?

  • What a crazy fuck lol...

  • i finally found an article on the IdahoStatesman website that quotes the bridge at 160-170 ft tall depending on the water level.. DAMN

  • That's the longest fall that I've ever seen on here, and that sounds about right too as far as the height is concerned, because if you take Newton's law where Distance = 1/2 * Gravity * Time^2 (not to sound like a geek), and judging from the video, a fall of slighly longer than 3 seconds, that's about right. 3 seconds = 144ft, so a little more than that.

  • I was just revisiting this clip...and my comments. I think that the free fall time is actually closer to 2.7 sec rather than 3 sec, which would equate to about a 115ft drop, or about 59mi/hr when hitting the water. To put this jump into perspective, I read that the world record high dive is 172ft and that the Golden Gate Bridge is about 245ft above the water.

  • @trep420 its high but not that high... i prolly put it at 130, with a low water level.

  • Crazy jump, glad to see you walking round the Wildflower campfire!

  • 2 stress fractured vertebrae.. dudes rockclimbing and longboarding like its all good a month later tho.. lol

  • So he did get hurt ?

It look like he had a good landing.

I hope next time he doesn't break anything.

Congratulations, my hat goes to the jumper!

  • How many broken bones?

  • What a back breaker. Crazy Montana boy is right!!

  • That looks like a back breaker!!

  • He's in the air for almost 3 full seconds, thats about 140 foot drop...

  • @trep420 what was he doin dude!!!! that was frickin sick!! lol...so high,he know he's gona drop in he water nd he's flapping his arms like he's gonna glide by the surface..or fly away ... :D pretty insane tho...that kid's got balls...
