If your going by just looks then no this game actually falls behind in graphical quality. Look at Final Fantasy XIV and Tera and then tell me that is games graphics are "...better than any MMO YET !!!"
@darklynx69 unfortunately I could not get into FFXIV :( and that's coming from someone that played FFXI for over 7 years lol. Game had amazing graphics, but just something about it made it feel empty (not ingame player wise)
While i would completely agree with you a year ago, the FFXIV i'm playing now is very competant. I played FFXI for 7 years as well and couldn't imagine playing the beta they launched, but they've made enough changes that it's really showing it's potential as of late. :)

Hack and slash makes grinding more fun and less of a chore. You get more control over the gameplay rather than pressing buttons to perform moves and then allowing the AI to roll the dice for those moves. The click and attack gameplay was only because of technology constraints. Eventually gameplay will reach a stage where click combat becomes a thing of the past.
By the time this game actually launches there are gonna be 6 other games just like it, already a couple since they are taking their sweet time releasing it into even OB. Blade and Soul's time was last year, now it is just gonna be 1 of many of its kind coming out in 2012.

Personally i really like the way this game looks however i just dont beleive it has quite what it takes to keep up with what a certain other mmo is bringing to the table.. and that is GW2

@sonya2100 i'm pretty sure they use a kssn (korean social security number) for id purposes, and if you ain't a korean national you can't get one... some people try to hijack kssn's or w/e, but that's almost impossible for the average person plus a kinda risky.
The only things I can find wrong with this game so far are the facial expressions and the fact women dress like prostitutes. I graduated from drooling over breast physics when I was like, 12, being that skimpy most the time is just unsettling to me now.

Have you ever played PSO Episode I & II or Blue Burst? It's that sort of targeting system where you lock into enemies that are in front of you (with the option to alter how sensitive your target changes when you move).
Just making sure we're all clear on how the targeting system really works. Based on everything I've read, it's a lot closer to non-targeting than it is to point-and-click.

@Arkenx DN is a generic MMO, the only difference is it has a non-targeting system like Dragon Saga, Vindictus, Tera, Rakion, Rusty Hearts, GhostX etc. I like Action MMOs (non-target) aswell but saying they're not "generic" is stupid. You quest, craft, dungeon, raid etc. All the same.
Also how the hell can you play Closed Beta in 2008 when the first Korean CBT started in April 2011 and second CBT started in August...

Wow, aside from problems with some of the animation (as in it seems to be missing animation) the game is absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see the CBT2. I also hope they plan to voice the quest dialogue, seems silly to have it fully voiced except in the quest dialogue.
@drewbloo99 I don't think this is going to be Free-to-Play. With NC Soft you have a 50/50 chance. But there is Vindictus by NEXON, and Guild Wars 2 will be F2P (sort of). If you know where to look there are a lot of good F2Ps.
This can be the rare games which will never reach America nor europe. Koreans always keep the best ones themselves. Or at least that happened for fatal frame 4 in Japan.
Aside from my worries, I think this game can be the best game on 2012-2013. I read it was said to come out 2012, but I doubt it hard.

@sonya2100 i'm pretty sure they use a kssn (korean social security number) for id purposes, and if you ain't a korean national you can't get one... some people try to hijack kssn's or w/e, but that's almost impossible for the average person plus a kinda risky.

The only things I can find wrong with this game so far are the facial expressions and the fact women dress like prostitutes. I graduated from drooling over breast physics when I was like, 12, being that skimpy most the time is just unsettling to me now.

@CommentFanatic Correction - It's not a point-and-click target system, it's an auto target system.
Have you ever played PSO Episode I & II or Blue Burst? It's that sort of targeting system where you lock into enemies that are in front of you (with the option to alter how sensitive your target changes when you move).
Just making sure we're all clear on how the targeting system really works. Based on everything I've read, it's a lot closer to non-targeting than it is to point-and-click.

@Arkenx Do share with us what a non-generic MMO looks like.
They all involve killing monsters, leveling up, getting gear, building skills, restocking on potions, getting lost, getting KSed by xXNaruto3824Xx, fighting "epic" bosses, going AFK to pee, getting PK'd while AFK peeing, going on forums and participating in flame wars, running around doing quests, following "the storyline."
If you're tired of this procedure then you're tire of MMOs.
BTW he's lv 4, and you're not the one playing.

As for non-generic mmo, try dn for one :| it has lvl up and obtain shit, but unlike this crap where you spam skills until you or the other dies, theres a world of decision involved in what you're going to do instead of standing still and tossing shit at each other, or running circles like an idiot, in pvp and pve.

B&S is still in CBT - did you expect them to revamp the game during CBT phase?
If you've played B&S you should be well aware of the counter system and skill chain systems that make the combat smoother - unlike DN where you push 1,2,3,4,5 k next room.

@Arkenx DN is a generic MMO, the only difference is it has a non-targeting system like Dragon Saga, Vindictus, Tera, Rakion, Rusty Hearts, GhostX etc. I like Action MMOs (non-target) aswell but saying they're not "generic" is stupid. You quest, craft, dungeon, raid etc. All the same.
Also how the hell can you play Closed Beta in 2008 when the first Korean CBT started in April 2011 and second CBT started in August...

Because that's how much people appreciate the number of years that were involved for NCSoft to even bother launching the game and THEN get it exported outside of Korea.
Assuming a global version is actually going to happen, that is.

Wow, aside from problems with some of the animation (as in it seems to be missing animation) the game is absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see the CBT2. I also hope they plan to voice the quest dialogue, seems silly to have it fully voiced except in the quest dialogue.
@drewbloo99 I don't think this is going to be Free-to-Play. With NC Soft you have a 50/50 chance. But there is Vindictus by NEXON, and Guild Wars 2 will be F2P (sort of). If you know where to look there are a lot of good F2Ps.
