i started talking to my kids at a very young age (3-5) at their level of interest/ curiosity. having a cousin die of AIDS and one currently with HIV made me realize that no amount of embarrassment would ever get in the way of me trying to render knowledge and safety for my children. that goes for my students as well. if they want to know something i answer them with the truth and nothing but the truth.

My 7th grade teacher explained sex to my class and I back then and I didn't fully understand and I was like "What the heck is this all about?!" No one ever explained to me the whole thing about sex until I got into high school!

On my 14th birthday, my parents gave me a purity ring and told me everything about sex and why I should wait until I'm married! Now I fully understand what sex is. I would say age 12 would be more appropiate.

I would probably say around 12 or 13 because when you inform people about sex, usually, you talk to them about STDs and the spreading of them. If you don't talk to them about STDs, then they will probably be more likely to have sex. I think that nowadays, there are alot of movies that promote sex and young teenangers see that and want to ...
