  • O peso da guitarra do billy duffy ao vivo é foda!!!

  • klasse danke aus berlin

  • THE CULT RISES AGAIN !!

  • This is what I call music....

  • A great song, never tires. Classic stuff. Loved it at 19 and still can't stay still when I hear it now I'm well over 40.

  • @Bhuidhe1 AGREE am 43 and still rocking with this great music,.,.,.,

  • who the fukk are guns and roses,..and who the fukk is axel rose..little bitsches??

"the cult is one of the best bands ever"!!

  • I agree 100%. I have listened to them for years! My 20 year old son does now too!

I do not think this band knew how much they would missed when they broke up. If they ever come close to where i live; I will go see them, and I have been rocking since the 60's!!!!!!!

  • Agree - Astbury and Duffy are two of the most underrated songwriters of recent times...Check out 'Embers' in the Vintage room....Absolutely awesome....

  • If Billy Duffy isn't a Guitar God - I don't know who is. .... Slash who ??? Duffy is on another planet to the overhyped Slash. I totally agree this band is criminally neglected and are timeless. Sounds as good today as it did back then !!!

  • Anyone remember Mark Brezicki from Big Country having a go on the LOVE album???

  • @paddy9i99

i do they should of kept him really les warner is alright but not great

  • Anyone know who the drummer on this is?

Also, who is peoples favorite Cult drummer, or who are we hearing most on most of the albums?

  • @biggstile this drummer is matt sorum who was the drummer in the sonic temple album, he joined GandR of course. But he terurned to drum for them breifly in the late 90's when they re-formed, my personal favourite is NIgel Preston the orginal drummer. Mainly because he had speed and skill.

  • @MrPrivteye You are incorrect in saying that Matt Sorum drummed on the Sonic Temple album....it was actually Mickey Currey........Matt sorum just toured with them.

  • @cookamidgera

you are quite right, the cult have had so many members it can be confusing

  • @MrPrivteye Although Mickey Currey drummed on Sonic Temple, he was never a member of the cult.....just a studio drummer for the album

  • @cookamidge

there a bit like spinal tap when it comes to drummers

  • @MrPrivteye Although Mickey Currey drummed on Sonic Temple, he was never a member of the cult.....just a studio drummer for the album. Mickey Currey has drummed previously for Brian Adams

  • that was the ... 106th time i've watched this video!!!

  • the older I get, the more bands/ Music I hear, the more trends that come and go...this BAND for me personally is timeless. I never miss an opportunity to see them.

  • IMO the greatest song from The Cult.

  • @ MUZZIE - Matt was a member of th Band during Sonic Temple. '86-'88 (?) I believe He left after that tour.

  • Awesome!

  • Duffy looks like Billy Idol hehe great song great band, great singer but why is Ian singing a little bit strange is that because of cocain under his teeth :)?

  • brilliant band, havent lost their flair , even after all these years x

  • THANKS BABE....I AM YOUR RAIN....*WINK*

  • My favorite band, hands down. A Navy buddy of mine introduced me to their shit back in '86. He had been a fan ever since he saw them in Australia a year or so before me and him met. "Little Face" was the song...I LOVED IT, IMMEDIATELY!. Told me he got it Down Under. Ive been a fan ever since. The clang of Duffy's ax and Ian's vocals on top of it, is a combo you cant beat. Ive seen them 19 times, live.....and they never let me down.

  • right on caroline

  • mmmmmmm thats it.

  • Amazing performance !!! Indeed - i love to play this song ....

  • CAn someone tell me if Matt Sorem was an original member of the Cult??

  • @Muzzie0323 nope.

  • @esa1810 Was Matt ever a member of the Cult, or did he just sit in on drums for this particular concert??

  • This song is awesome they have so many great songs

  • Saw them at the House of Blues, AC, NJ last weekend. They never disappoint live.

  • where was this video taken? can i get it on DVD?

  • @mcbtex at the ritz somewhere, same place gnr performed in 1988. i recognise the stage.

  • superb performance, love the bass and the voice

  • The best rock band in the World withaout a shadow of doubt.

  • Excellent band!

  • this and sanctuary are the two songs I would put into my top 20 . I saw them in 87..Ian wore black leather trousers and was bare chested..his hair loose..he was sex on legs!..he surfed the crowd..amazing..one of my best memories from my younger yrs..my son heard me play it yrs ago and wanted the album..so it goes on..brilliant band

  • The drums sound awesome...The Cult, by default, sound incredible..

  • the best song

  • is matt sorum playing drums?

  • Yup thats Matt behind the kit :)

  • reminds me of messing around on bmx`s when we were young.great times

  • les paul sounds much better not as heavy as white falcon

  • billy duffy has no white falcon in this vid

  • I saw them during this tour, they were GREAT!

  • Were they great with the pretend singer?

  • I don't know who u r talking about when u say 'pretend singer' but Ian Astbury was the lead singer at the concert I went to & like I said it was GREAT!8)

  • I bought them last cd and i like it very much, expecially the cover cd, i have never listened before The Cult cover versions and it is very good sound. The grafic of the cd pack is very nice also. Many friends of mine wish they could afford the Cult CD too. For exemple Billy Idol is also great in the new album...

  • Saw The Cult live, Stoke on Trent, in the 80's...

This latest version isnt a patch on the old stuff... actually, its pretty sad to watch, given the raw talent of the cult, before they were old men...

  • Agreed.The power is gone.

  • Velhos tempos!!!!costa da caparica!!!!dunas!!!!!nessa altura era sempre a bombar!!!!um abraço a essa rapaziada!!!!carapelas!!!

  • Love this song, great singer and band.

  • Me!! :)

  • You missed Death Cult as well. They did drop the Southern for a while.

Love the Dead Micky Mouse head on the sleeve.

  • I was fortunate enough to see THE HOLY BARBARIANS several times when they came to Texas. Me and a buddy even drove from SAN ANTONIO to CLEVELAND to see one of their first gigs at a festival called THE BUZZARD FEST. On our way back home we ran into a UPS truck at 70MPH> No one was seriously hurt but we happend to be listening to EDIE in the CD player right at impact. I never hear that song the same way now.

  • BTW- I LOVE this SONG!! one of my fav Cult songs!! such Good Music here!!!

  • Matt Sorum is a great Rock Drummer. Arriba The Cult carajo...!

  • At 3:23 does Ian say "To my father!"? I know his dad died sometime back in 1990 and he got real depressed after that. Tragic loss. Great performance by them.

  • got drunk and crashed my car when i was 18. most bummed at the time about the fact that my Love cassette was lost.

  • This group is the most underrated rock group of all time by those who are the so called expert critics.

  • I totally agree

  • @lp32862 fucking A

  • @lp32862 Yes, these and Play Dead

  • @lp32862 Goddamnit you're so right. And ths still makes me so angry.

  • great song also cover from theatres des vampires.i love the rain and corona + lemon

  • I love rain!!!

  • I love the rain too

  • me three

  • Billy is the best guitarist on earth ;)

    The Cult rock!!!!!!!!!

  • actually in the begining of the song, the sound engineer, fucked up a bit. He made rhythm guitar louder than Billy's lead guitar. But it seems he fixed it towards the end of the song.

  • he did didn't he!!! ahh man the song just doesn't sound the same w/o Billy's guitar out front i know that sucks. hey no ones perfect though.

  • This is awesome ... totally polished live version!!! The Cult RAWK!!!

  • Polish ma knob in the rain hahaha

  • To a high gloss buff.
