  • plz tell me how to do that

  • See this is exactly the reason why i didnt opt to buy a mac, nice as they are , I really need native 3ds max support

  • im thinking about getting 3ds max and parallels desktop for my mac. but before i do i would like to make sure that i can import files from 3ds max on parallels to adobe after effects on my mac. please help. :)

  • @EverythingJdawg Yes you can, just like you do in windows. The 2 OSs communicate pretty well and seamless. You can drag and drop files from one to the other, no problem! Hope that helps!

  • @starship77 Alright! Thanks for the help!!!

  • @EverythingJdawg look It happen the same for me :/ i want to make animations on ads max , and then pass it to my mac :) If I discover something I will talk to you :)

  • Yea, since 3DS Max is a Windows only software application, it's only natural that it would be a little slower in virtualization, since it doesn't have full system resources to work with.

  • I run 3DS Max the same way in Linux on my PC ...

  • I'm gonna try it on my Macbook. Are you running on XP?

  • Yeah its XP :)

  • @starship77

i had paralell but i found programs to lag alot, does that happen to you?

  • Where'd you DL 3DS Max from?

  • autodesk site. (free 30-day trial)

  • WOW! did't knew it worked on mac :D

    thx!

  • @MatasTGvideo Yes, if it's run virtually in a Windows environment, or Windows is natively running on the Apple computer, which ever one you may own.

  • Hi,

thanks for posting these, I'm about to buy a mac and use 3dsmax so am wondering which to buy fusion or parallels.

dragging the window around in fusion looked a bit slower than in parallels, but on the other hand the fps is better, and I read somewhere it supports direct3d and parallels doesn't? is that right?

but you've had first hand experiance, which do you prefer using to run 3dsmax? fusion or parallels? :)

  • I´m using parallels 5 right now. I think it is the best for 3dsmax. The video I did was with version 4. The version 5 outperforms Fusion 3 in both fps and render times! Seeya!

  • awesome, cheers dude!

  • @DesignerAnimator parallels but i am looking for a free windows xp can anyone help?

  • hey i have vmware and i was wondering if you could help me on this because im trying to work on some big things. so can you help me with finding a download for this program ???
