Not many know that fear extraction point and perseus project are totally unrelated to fear 2 and 3

Fear, fear extraction point and perseus project are 1 time line. (original one since it follows the books)

Fear, fear 2 and 3 are another time line. (I can only guess they wanted to make it end different either that or just marketing to make other games about it, hence the populatiry of the game.)

Fear (the first game) is in both timelines though.

I just cleared 2nd expansion perseus mandate. In the end Fettel says something like "She gave birth to me and after that they steal me from her" And it continues "after 3 years she died" not sure did I hear right but ye. There was one more awesome thing in these games. When u go to subway in extraction point there is broken plane in the subway enter. And in perseus mandate u come from subway and u see same plane crashed there. I was amused :O.

I actually really enjoyed the expansions (although from what I'm told this ending isn't ressolved in FEAR 2 which disappoints me). I just beat this one today and now I think I'm halfway through Perseus Mandate....I don't mind when they make side stories that revolve around the main story but "sarge" is not suppose to have the hightened reflexes thing....unless he too was some kind of experiment that was placed into FEAR ..but still, I would like them to explain more on both,I think they are good

Do you remember in the morgue when all the blood and gloom disappears after the final confrontation with alma? That pretty much signifies the end of alma-both sides(nude alma+red dress alma). Alma doesn't try to kill you at the end of extraction point, if you use a sniper rifle when you get to the roof, you can see fettel on the helipad, he obviously sets a bomb to make sure you (the point man) doesn't escape. It's the most logical explanation. Stuff just doesn't explode for no reason.

Actually that's false. Remember Alma was using Fettle the entire time. I don't think Alma was at all ended but rather being more at ease, considering the bond between her child-ish self and adult self. And we don't know what happens to make the explosion. From what I recall you hear Betters say, "Oh shit!" Like a missile had locked on. But then again we know Alma can ignite shit out of thin air considering what she did to a Delta team at the beginning of the game.
