  • it was good i wasnt mad just a couple of songs were really just flew by and wont memorable at all

  • I hate to disagree. Love is dangerous and fighting the gravity are sexy as hell. But I do love me some AVA so maybe that's why I like this entire album

  • i fucking hate love is dangerous!!!!!!

  • also, I DO disagree about Love is Dangerous. it is one of my favorite tracks on the album. Mark and Tom's vocals over one another are great, as are Mark's parts during the chrous.

  • kudos on the honest review. as i die hard fan i just beg for you to give love is dangerous another go.. the harmonies during the versus' are phenomenal, as well as marks back up vocals on the 2nd chorus onwards.. the drumming as well is beyond anything atom willard could have written. everyone will have a different review on the album, but like you said, even if she falls.. they couldnt have picked a better song to end this album on

  • glad to have em back, like the album but i totally prefer the previous album to this one. the previous one had everything to make me love blink. but this... i dunno perhaps i expected more better tracks, or want to hear the old blink. but things can get better, hopefully the next album will be better. enema of the state, take off your pants and jacket, and the self titled album are too superior for the new one.

  • It's not the band that hurts you, but It's your own expectations about the band that hurts you.A misled fan:"oh no, blink-182 didn't do the kind of album that I wanted!?!?!?" Me:grow up, you are not in the blink-182 band, so you dont know why they wrote those new songs. If you didn't like the new album cause you expected something different. If you like a band, you should just be neutral for what they do.Side note, if you don't like the new music why won't you make the kind of music you like

  • I loved Blink 182, but this album sucked tbh....None of the songs were relatively catchy or memorable. Out of the whole album I thought maybe 1-2 songs were alright. Not even GREAT or EPIC or REPLAY WORTHY.

I didn't find myself replaying any of the songs more than once =/ I've listened to the album about 3 times now trying to find something I can like about it, but I really can't...though ill keep trying.

  • @DRWarrior yea I've about decided I'm not gonna buy it lol

  • @MrMoony1235 Yeah...I'm sorry...I mean, a lot of people still say they liked it. More than their other albums, which, i find to be weird, but hey, everyone has opinions.

  • @DRWarrior that's your opinion. great. we all have one.

and i have one too: i love the album.

  • @BrianxDempsey I know, but this feels like an album that you either love or hate. And I don't think there's really a middle ground. It just isn't the same Blink 182. Is that bad? No. But, I just cant find myself liking this......

  • Props on this review!!! You reviewed it honestly and respectfully. Thank you for that(: Best review I've heard so far(:

  • @Stasiams07 Thanks man, appreciate it!

  • i never thought id say this but..... i wish blink 182 never got back together...

    they destroyed their legacy.

  • @sahilrattanaphas Ha, I wouldn't go THAT far, but I hear ya dawggg

  • I agree with most this review. I can hear the influence of all the band they been in. And it doesn't disappoint me like most people would bitch about. I can understand it, I loved AvA, I loved Plus 44, mainly because it was the band I grew up with doing their own thing. Now that their back with this, it shows how they worked together and showed their deeper side of maturity. Not my favorite album, Self titled has that place..but i loved it either way.

  • The album is amazing, and i thought it was definitely worth the wait. I respect the fact they have some AVA and +44 in it because they put projects and tied them together. Another thing, they will not be sounding like their old selves anymore because they arent, they are alot older now, they cant possibly put out songs about "girls at the rock show" and stuff like that. Blink 182 is my favorite band and i think it was amazing

  • THE NEW ALBUM IS FUCKING PERFECT I LOVE IT!

  • @j0e182 IM GLAD YOU LIKED IT! !! I thought it was good 2 bro!

  • @MrMoony1235 i love every song. i think it was a peice of each of the band members. i cant wait for the next album! i hope there is like a second part of stockholm sysndrom!

  • @MrMoony1235 syndrome*

  • I agree %100

  • My only complaint about the album is there is a lllootttt of room to stick punk rhythm guitar under. Some of the songs feel empty and aren't driven like the self titled. The guitars aren't powerful enough and when they are, the tones are so not Blink.

My fav song is 4.18 because it just kicks you in the balls.

  • @SteveoMcNello yea man, I love that song

  • Im dissapointed, the best songs on the album are like the mediocre album fillers of "self titled". Its okay up untill "Hearts all gone" then the rest of it sounds like an AvA and BCR/+44 brain fart (except fighting the gravity). I hope it grows on me but its doubtful sinse I dont like AvA or BCR. meh

  • people are brutal man! FUCK OFF EVERYONE these are our opinions on the albums, dont mind the haters bro, they destroyed my review too,had to turn off the damn comments

  • @AlbumReviewTV I appreciated the back up, but I was kinda expecting this lol everyone wont have the same opinions on albums, and they feel the need to bitch about it, so they can bitch and moan and complain all they want, though I like it better when its an understanding tone of voice, I still like the different views and opinions, but whatever, LOL

  • i'm not trying to be mean or anything, but did you even listen to the last blink 182 album? that sounded nothing like enema of the state or take off your pants and jacket. personally i think love is dangerous sounds more like a blink 182 song than i'm lost without you. and fighting the gravity isn't an angels and airwaves song, it's more of a plus 44 song because mark wrote it, and did you even listen to all that depressing shit on the plus 44 record? sounds just like it.

  • P.S. Mark wrote Fighting The Gravity, so...what?

  • Love Is Dangerous is one of the best on the album.

  • i cant find the fuckin link!!!!!!!!!!

  • And if you count hearts all gone interlude that's 4 for mark... Cause he made that.. So really get all your facts straight.. Your reviews have zero credibility if your facts are wrong..

  • Mark has 3 songs to himself... Tom has like 5 (mark chimes in sometimes on them)... And the other 6 are duel vocals .... Lol not a Tom.. Give a fucking accurate review so people know how it really is.. Not your warped view on it..

  • Album is great.. All the songs are.. Keep listening ... Its a grower.. And Jesus stop bitching about it sounding like side projects.. It has a hint A HINT of side projects.. But what the fuck do you expect!? The guys have been on a 8 year hiatus from making records... They have done other things and grown as musicians.. And thank god for that...

  • and a last bit of input my take on their new sound is if they keep it less experimental and go for their classic style albeit more matured then they'll be set with their next album and i feel like they where trying to head in that direction, and is it just me or did tom sing just about every fuckin' song on this cd lol.

  • @ATeamSkater67 YES!! Mark barely did ANYTHING glad you brought that up lol and thanks for the comment man, I'm totally with you on that

  • pretty much exactly how i felt regarding this album really do love it minus those 2 A&A tracks which weren't bad just didn't belong, and a thing i noticed i couldn't help but feel like they re used certain riffs on this album like natives starts of off pretty close like their old song always, but with a faster tempo as does wishing well and down maybe its just me looking to much into it but i feel like they went for something similar but didn't quite hit the album came off a bit more electronic

  • I've accepted it for what it is at this point,I've listened all the way thru 6 times now,and I'm happy with more than half of the tracks so I mostly agree with you dude. It's just hard for me to accept that things have changed so much

  • @compton182 yea... but to be honest, i don't know if i'll pay for it or not...

  • @MrMoony1235 thats the debate i'm having right now..i just dont know

  • lmao, when u started talking about love is dangerous i was dying so hard. It genuinely sucks. But i thought fighting the gravity was more experimental blink than angels and airwaves, probably because it was Mark, but i did think that was a good songs. This is home and Love is Dangerous are the worst songs off the album, which is fine cuz i think its a really good album otherwise.

  • @AmmanuelsReviews I get what your saying, and I deff. liked Fighting Gravity more than Love is Dangerous. lol After a few more listens Ill probably get more used to it, thanks for the comment bro 8)
