Richard's version of My Girl isn't bad at all, it's just not as good as Ruffin's. He's a very good singer and he sounds very good singing his own songs.

I always liked Richard's version of "MY Girl." He has his own smooth and souful style. Would love for someone to post a video of "Heavenly" or "Firefly," Street's brilliant leads with the group.

In the 70's Richard really used to play and harmonize over the rest of the guys backround vocals on My Girl. It was Awesome!! Later he stuck more to the way the song was originally sung, but still did a great job in my opinion. Its true he has a different, smoother style than some may expect, but variety is good sometimes.
