30 years in the biz. GREAT work!!! Just goes to show..you don't need a mega-buck camera to take excellent pics! Telling my students for a long time: "It's the photographer..not the cmaera!" Keep up the good work! Ever think of selling them? Check Google; lot's of places! Cheers

I used the 18-55 vr zoom kit lens which came with the camera and also the 55-200 vr zoom lens which i added at the same time of purchase.

i have a nikon d80 with 18-135 which came along with the kit but does not have a VR so i did not have any choice so with this lens what i have can i take some good preofessional pics or do i have to get new lenses with VR and what do u suggest on this...

No you do not have to buy new lenses with vr even though my lenses have this facility i always carry a tripod and use a cable shutter release to keep my images as sharp as possible.

To sum up your D80 with that lens is more than capable of producing some quality images!

adding to prev notes..iam not able to get the best pics that i want to so can u suggest me few tips so that i can get the best results with this lens...

1)Add a UV filter

2)press you menu button

3)Then shooting menu

4)Press ok

There you have 7 options to experiment with

Try Vivid/more vivid for say sunsets or flowers etc,just master all the functions the D80 has and experiment.
